My family and I hired Eric & Jesus and they won our custody case. We are grateful and ecstatic because we know that our baby boy will grow up with the guidance and the direction needed to be a successful, honest, and respectful man. I hired Eric back in February of 2018 to work on my case involving my ex-husband. Initially, I was working with another lawyer - who shall remain unnamed - but after some negotiations that were unrealistic and not in the best interest of my children, I decided to find a new lawyer. Eric was amazing. He was very professional and handled my case efficiently and with my kids as the priority. There were a few bumps in the road but family court can be emotionally exhausting and in my case, it was. Eric & Heather did a wonderful job making sure all of my concerns were validated and that the orders enforced were agreeable. The only con was keeping up with invoices. It may have been more of a blessing in disguise for me, but I only received one invoice that showed a breakdown of fees from the retainer. I paid almost $8K from Feb 2018 to Apr 2019 and I never received a final invoice that showed how the additional money was being used. I didn't really care that much after the final order was completed, but it made me a little anxious not knowing if I would need to find more money in the event they would request it. Thankfully, it never came to that and Eric said I would be taken care of no matter what. I'm hoping - in a good way - that I never have to step foot in their office again for another court case, but if I absolutely had to, I would consider hiring him again. Eric, Heather and Shelbie make an excellent team!

Jess was very knowledgeable, and efficient dealing with my custody case. He worked for the best outcome, and made sure our concerns were addressed. I didnt feel like just a paycheck, I felt like with all this going on that he was my side and he cared.

The right man for the job!We have used Mr. Willie twice now. Finding yourself in a custody case is a scary place to be. Initially we chose Mr. Willie because the phone consultation was free and he was kind enough to listen and give us some guidance. The first call to his office was twelve years ago. We needed an attorney again over the last 18 months and naturally chose him again Eric did a great job of helping us navigate the waters of fighting for your child. We had a terrible experience with Jesus and his staff at Willie & Dasher law. We caught mistakes in legal paperwork that was finalized and sent to us for review, they never met any of their promised deadlines, and, probably worst of all, we were not contacted back in a timely manner when we had issues. We called Jesus and had a very blunt conversation about how we were feeling hoping it would make a difference to absolutely no avail. At this point, after terminating services weeks ago, we are still unable to get our retainer back. Neither the owner Eric or Jesus will respond to our attempts to get an update or an invoice.Shocking unprofessional. Please take your important business elsewhere.

When looking at lawyers to handle my divorce case, one thing I noticed was many would have you deal with the less experienced staff instead of the themselves. This is not the case with Mr Willie. I got very personal attention, which was very nice. He clearly has a lot of experience and is very familiar with working divorce cases in both Travis and Hays counties. He is now handling my estate planning. Highly recommended.

I called at 16 (no joke!) attorneys before I found Eric. They ALL wanted money up front for a consultation and some of them wanted upwards of $350.00. Most of these firms would not even let me speak to the attorney before I gave them money for a consultation! NOT ERIC! Eric not only stayed on the initial call with me for more than an hour but he also gave me some advice that I could use. He did this before he knew I was going to hire him. I knew at that point I wanted Eric as my attorney and I'm glad that I hired him and his team! I felt like he was on my side the whole time with very personal service. I would highly recommend Eric if you want someone that will go to bat for you in court and win!

As my first experience with any type of lawyer this experience has made me understand that dealing with lawyers is terrible. I don't know how good he is as a lawyer because I never got to see anything he could do. He has a paralegal that is completely unprofessional and he backs her up without getting all the facts . We hired Eric to help us with a custody case and after several months of making zero progress we called the office to get some answers because we were getting frustrated. His paralegal didn't like the questions so she hung up the phone on us and refused to take our calls. When we saw him again he blamed us! He didn't even get our side of the story. After that, the relationship was toxic. Even though we had already paid for his service, we had to get away from him. When I went to his office to get my file so that I could hire another lawyer he had a terrible attitude and was totally unprofessional. I would NOT recommend him. Find a lawyer that actually cares and save yourself the trouble.While reading other reviews I noticed that there is a 5 start review by Heather Cantu giving praise to this law firm. She is the paralegal that hung up the phone and refused to answer my calls. Her review states that she was referred by another family law attorney. SHE WORKS FOR ERIC! Lol. I'm not sure that this is ethical but that just solidifies my decision to walk away from these people.

Eric and his staff were understanding and responsive to all of our concerns. Eric had to travel between Dallas and Austin to ensure our case was heard and was instrumental in gaining grandparent rights to protect our grandchild. Even while on vacation he responded to our concerns. He's the only attorney we've met in our 5 year legal battle that always comes through with success.

I went through a difficult divorce. I have always been an involved Father, so it was very hard when initial temporary orders said I could only see my youngest child 48 hours a month due to his age. I was told by multiple people & 'professionals' that I would get no better than 4 overnights a month because that's what standard visitation is, and that's what Dads typically get. Now that the process is over, I am now one day away from 50/50. Typical orders say non-custodial parents get only 48 hours a month until age 3, and then another increase at age 5. I have had almost 50/50 since my youngest was 2 by the time this was settled. I also have been able to maintain joint decision-making throughout the process.Eric picks up his phone, and responds. I called his office on a Saturday night when I needed an attorney ASAP. He called me the next morning and set things up.Eric was able to get temporary orders enforced and get my time with my kids back on track when temporary orders were not followed (after not seeing my kids for several weeks).Divorce is hard, a contested divorce involving children is harder. Eric was calm and steady throughout the process.
