I absolutely love Bridget and her staff! They are always professional and there when I have a question and very prompt getting back to me. Bridget respects herself very professional in court. I have complete trust in her and her staff. I would HIGHLY recommend her!!!

Through out my years I have come across several occasions that I needed the advice or help from an attorney. My favorite family law attorney retired and I asked several people for recommendations. I was seeking custody of my son and Bridget O'Brien's name was mentioned by her peers to me more than a few times. To me this was the most important fight of my life and of my son's. I wanted to make sure we were teamed with someone who would care about our position and point of view in the matter. Taking custody of a child from a mother by the father is not an easy task in Texas.I meet with Bridget at length a couple times and she even took time to speak with my son. To have an attorney show us that much care, concern and compassion was a relief. She called me each time there was an update, offer or counter offer. She was prepared the moment we walked in the courthouse and made one of the most fearful days of my life one of my most victorious. Bridget O'Brien is more than just an attorney. She is my HERO and I recommend her all the time to family and friends. I never once hesitate to call Ms. O'Brien any time I am facing any legal issue or just need advice on matters that I know lie outside my knowledge of the law.

She and her staff go above and beyond and take a personal interest in the case. I used her for a very tumultuous custody case and, although she never met my child, she made it her business to know the important things about the case that affected my child. It is so apparent that she cares about her clients and the cases she takes. Her staff kept me informed of every step of the case and what to expect. Although I hope I don't require her services again, I would definitely use her and/or recommend her!

I was referred to Bridget by a friend and am very pleased to have met her. Not to go into all the details of my custody battle, but if it wasnt for her quick action, things could have been very bad for me and my relationship with my children. Thank you Bridget for making my case so personal and standing up for me and my kids when good fathers are so mistreated by the system.

Bridget and her staff were there for me through the most trying time of my life. A difficult divorce, custody and child support. Always there to answer all my questions and listen to my concerns. She has went above and beyond what I had expected. I would recommend her to anyone that needs a caring and thorough attorney.

Hired her for a divorce. She performed like a first grader. Office was totally disorganized. She was either late to file or didnt even bother to file crucial paperwork. Court ordered documents were given to her for the other side and they never did. I ended up facing a angry judge and near contempt for not providing the paperwork. Communication was near non existent outside of court. Nearly 8 grand wasted and the case still is not settled. I'll be reporting her to the Texas bar, and leaving reviews on everything I can.

I retained Bridget back in 2016 for a divorce and custody of my two kids. It took about 2 years for us to finally go to court, due to the other party stalling and false accusations. But any time i had a question or concern Bridget and her team were always there to answer them. As for price she is very reasonable and fair. She got me full custody of my kids and me being the father that should speak volumes. If i ever have to return to family court i will defiantly be giving Bridget a call.

In one of the most difficult times of my life Bridget and her entire staff were outstanding in assisting me through my divorce. Bridget's legel advice was spot on, and I was able to settle out of court. She successfully ensured I got to keep the most important part of my life with me, and that is my children. I cannot thank Bridget and her entire staff enough for being here for me. If a compassionate, understanding, and component family lawyer is what anyone needs I will recommend Bridget and her staff every time.

If I could negatively rate this woman I would. She was nothing but incompetent. I would have been better off saving my money and filing it myself. With a divorce and custody that would take a simple month to file took a year and nothing in return. I would not trust this woman with any legal action. She is lazy and just wants your money. She may say she has sympathy for you but just wants your money without the work she owes you. She doesnt deserve anyones business. I do not recommend Bridget for anyone

Thought she was very unprofessional. In my opinion she was extremely slow to respond to questions, very poor at communication, and didn't bother responding until you got very frustrated. Came across as flat out lazy to me. After 3 months of putting up with that nonsense I had her dismiss the case, so i could hire someone else to take over. She of course didn't offer any type of refund, after only doing a small part of the work she was paid for. I hired James Abbott to handle my legal matter after that and difference was night and day. Going thru family legal matters is frustrating enough without the person who is supposed to help you adding to the problems.

If possible I would give her NO STARS !!! This woman and her staff are the most unprofessional people i have met in my life !My case has taken over 4 years and only came to a close and solution because of the district attorney . When Bridget took on my case she was supposed to be helping me get my ex served with papers for joint custody and child support and thats it , and yet that took 4 years and at that nothing was done by her , my ex was never served or anything by her , everytime i would call to speak to bridget she was never in the office or able to talk . i would leave message after message no returned phone calls ever!!! I would even go to her office when they said it was open but it would be closed and no one would show up for hours later , everytime i asked where my case was at all they could say is they couldnt find my ex or have him served . that went on for 3 years this last year i was finally given papers togo to court with my ex , but they weren't drawn up by bridget it was all done by the district attorney and guess what they had my ex served also ! when i called and tried to call and ask about the papers of course they had no idea what was going on and said to bring in the paperwork to make copies of so bridget could go over them and get back to me to discuss them , but of course i never heard anything! The day before the hearing date with the district attorney i still had not heard from her or anyone not knowing if she was going to show up , so i called again asking if bridget was going to be there or if i needed to try to find someone else and of course like ALWAYS i was told to leave a message and they would get back to me . Finally , at 5:00pm i got a miracle call back by a staff member saying bridget would be there . The next day i show up at 8am and she did not show up until a hour later then asked me togo into the hallway to ask me what were going todo , there is so much more i want to say but i dont have the time nor the patience to type anymore all i can say is THANK YOU district attorney office for doing something and taking action unlike the persons who's job it was do it !!! PLEASE , SAVE YOURSELF AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE !!!! DONT WASTE YOUR TIME ON THESE SCUM BAGS!!!!!

Recently I found myself looking for an attorney in Texas. Being out of state I was scared to find the right person. I made 15+ phone calls before I found Bridgett. I feel so blessed to have found her. She truly represented me wholeheartedly. I felt like she cared about me and my daughter. Her prices are fair and her words are honest. Integrity would be a great word to describe her character and business practices. Thank you Bridgett for treating me with so much care and loyalty (and not to mention winning).

Bridge OBrien was the most unprofessional attorney in history of attorneys. She never once heard me out, she didnt care about my childs well-being and never communicated anything with me about my case. The consultation was great. She seemed very empathetic and willing to help. Until she received our pay check. I didnt hear from her in 20 weeks! I called her office none stop, emailed her constantly with no response and her secretary yelling at me! Im a mama that needed guidance, help and someone to fight with me. And she was none of that. When I finally heard back from her office which was 5 months after we hired her, it was her secretary advising me our mediation got cancelled!! I was mind baffled at the fact I didnt even know I had a mediation hearing for that day. It was moved 2 days later. She never called me in for preparation or even a call from her in general. It was always her secretary. I walked in to that mediation confused, and walked out very doubtful. To now know she didnt do her part or job to stand as my attorney but instead help the other party. Going in her office for understanding and clarification for her to tell me to leave her office because she didnt want explain how she screwed me over. It took her weeks to schedule me in to talk with her. I took my fianc and my mother. As I started talking, she sat there rolling her eyes at me and quote on quote being called a lier. By a 5 star rated attorney, rolling her eyes at you like a child. During our meeting she pulled out a 2 page law for her one word elections she put in the mediation, granting my daughters father to now have her 75% of the time and me 25%!! And he has never even been in her life. Never had nothing to do with her. Just didnt want to pay child support anymore. She didnt explain any of that in mediation nor gave me a copy of those documents until that day we went for answers a month after mediation. I have had several other women stating the same things. That Bridget OBrien was the worst attorney they hired. Even one lady loosing custody of her children. If you are a mother needing someone to fight for you. Hear you out and communicate with you. Do not hire this lady. She will never meet your satisfaction nor fight for your childs wellbeing.
