Nathan was referred to us by a dear friend. He handled one of the most important events in our lives (my husband adopting my biological son) with the upmost care and professionalism. This adoption is something weve waited on for many years (prior to Nathan) and we had consulted with many others lawyers in prior years who hit us with we cant promise anything along with very expensive price tags that were just not reasonable for our family . When we met with Nathan, he seemed like a natural fit. He is a straight shooter and is very transparent and communicative about every step of the process. I was in shock at how quickly Nathan was able to make this happen for us. He was so patient and responsive to our many questions and somehow made all of this happen with such ease and efficiency (even while going through a pandemic). My only regret was not reaching out to him sooner. We will never forget him and the part he played in one of the happiest days of our lives!

I was referred to this law office for representation, and decided to use them after our initial visit. I believe that they are more than capable of representing and know how to properly execute legal issues in court. After our second visit, however, the atmosphere was not what we wanted and the concern for our case appeared to be sub-par for what we were wanting. We ended up dismissing then as our attorney and they promptly provided is with our case files. I'm sure he would be good for others just not for us in this case.

Unfortunately, I had the necessity to hire an attorney to defend a family member against charges made against that individual. After some search on my own and a reference, I selected Attorney Nathan J. Sheldon to represent my family member. From start to finish the process took approximately 40 weeks to complete, including multiple appearances in court in front of a judge in late 2018.From the beginning Mr. Sheldon was very professional, made himself available to meet in person or via telephone with my family to discuss the legal matters, and always made the complicated legal matters understandable by everyone. Mr. Sheldon listened and asked good questions of us. Mr. Sheldon also kept me, and my family updated on the status of the case throughout the lengthy process, so we were never wondering what was happening.Mr. Sheldon was very insightful as to how he was going to approach our case, shared his opinion on how the other partys counsel was going to approach the case, and how he would be prepared for the other party.Once in the courtroom, it quickly became evident that Mr. Sheldon had carefully prepared his arguments and that Mr. Sheldon had built an excellent case to not only defend my family member, but to clearly refute the points made by the opposing counsel. To the extent that, without much delay, the presiding judge dismissed all charges against my family member and closed that case.I and my family were not only very pleased with the outcome, but also recognize that without the diligence and thoroughness of Mr. Sheldon, both during the long preparatory phase and especially the time in the courtroom, the outcome may have been different.I highly recommend Mr. Nathan J. Sheldon to anyone in need of a family defense attorney.

Nathan represented my husband and I for a step parent adoption case. I had talked to several lawyers and when I say several it was at least 10. One had terrified me and made me scared to take action. After talking to Nathan he reassured me of the laws in what my child's biologic father could and couldn't do. He was very knowledgeable. I felt more comfortable with him and felt like if I ended up with a fight that he would fight for my child's best intrest as if she was his own. He set up all of our appointments at very convenient times for us. Nathan always returned any phone calls and emails very promptly also. He always kept us in the loop and we were never in the dark.
