When selecting a divorce attorney I read a lot of online reviews. I selected Christine based on her stellar reviews online. I was very impressed with Christine and her staff from the first meeting. Christine gave me solid advice throughout the process (even when it was not what I wanted to hear). She was diligent in her guidance throughout the process and lead me down the right path from day one. She did not sugar coat anything for me which I appreciated. My personal pet peeve is not being able to communicate in a timely fashion which seems to be pretty normal for some attorneys around the area. I have to say the communication was great! I always got a call or email back in a timely manner. The staff there is very friendly and always willing to help if they can. I cannot say enough good things about Christine Howard and her staff (Lisa Harris & Connie Woods).

Going through a separation or divorce is never easy, and when it is unexpected makes it even more difficult, either way most people are just trying to cope with a significant life changing event. Figuring out the next step and the best way to handle the situation is tough for anyone. The circumstance that I was in, like every case, is different from that of others, however, I found myself doing what anyone reading this is doing and that is trying to find an attorney that could help. I called several attorneys and considering money was an issue it was frustrating to have office after office quote me by the hour, the half hour, and in one case by the minute. Calling Christine M. Howard office was a completely different experience, with the person answering the phone, Lisa, taking the time to talk to me, without any pressure, she was helpfully and made everything as clear as she could from the outset, which made the decision to set-up an appointment that much easier. From the first call, through meeting with Christine and working with her and her team throughout the process, has been like that first call, a different experience. Different from other attorneys I have worked with and from what I have heard from others that have been through this and how their experience differed. There was no quote by the hour, no plus expenses, rather the rate was set to do a job that was clearly outlined from the start. Christine and her team did that job with a level of professionalism, understanding of differing needs, a willingness to explain questions and concerns, and always quick to respond to emails or calls, all of these things have become a rarity in any profession. These factors combined to make for different experience that made a really difficult situation easier on everyone concerned. I could go on, but needless to say, I highly recommend Christine M. Howard to anyone and I can not thank her and her team enough for all they have done, it is greatly appreciated.

As soon as I called Christines I may have had to leave a voicemail but Lisa was always there to answer the phone or return calls. From the beginning Lisa and Connie would answer all my questions via phone or email. Christines office gave me the most comforting vibe. This last year has been a long one but Christine, Lisa and Connie have made it super easy and convienent. I never had issues receiving dates for hearings or papers to get signed. Christine is extremely knowledgeable and has been wonderful with my case. If I ever need them again, which in my case, I just may. Ill definitely call Christine Howard and her team. Christine Howard provided exactly what I needed at a very fair price and was prompt and professional throughout the process.My ex-wife and I had come to an agreement on everything and had it put into a permanent separation order. All I needed was someone to represent me for the final divorce, but every attorney I spoke with wanted to charge fees that were much more in line with someone who was not nearly as settled.Christine listened to my concerns, reviewed my order, and was the only one to have a fee that was reasonable for my relatively simple needs.Despite the simplicity of my case, Christine was always quick to respond with thorough, thoughtful advice. Connie and Lisa were just as professional both on the phone and in person. When the judge had to be hospitalized a few days before the hearing, they called me immediately and were able to take advantage of the last available hearing with another judge that day. Had they not acted immediately, my hearing would have been delayed for several weeks!On the day of the hearing, Christine was on time, had everything prepared, and told me exactly what to expect. The hearing could not have gone more smoothly.I highly recommend Christine M. Howard for her professionalism, attentiveness, and reasonable fee.

I cannot say enough good things about Christine Howard and her staff, Connie Woods and Lisa Harris. Prior to selecting an attorney to represent me in my divorce, I interviewed several attorneys in the Greenville area. None of them impressed me with how they wanted to handle my case....all were cold and calloused....the bottom-line for them was money, i.e. their fee. That was NOT what I was looking for or wanted. The moment that I walked into Christine's office I knew that I had found the right attorney for me simply by the way I was greeted by Christine's staff. When I actually met Christine, I was impressed with her candid remarks and warm, engaging manner. I knew by Christine's comments that she had great character and integrity and that we were both on the same page with how we needed/wanted to move forward with my divorce. As time passed, I found Christine to be a great advocate for me, as well as an empathetic supporter. I felt like I was working with a friend who was actually helping me through a difficult time in my life, not just being my attorney. ...it wasn't about how much Christine could charge me (at no time did I feel like I was being over-charged and I found her fees to be very reasonable), I felt like she really wanted to help me. At the outset, I told Christine that I wanted a fair and equitable dissolution of my marriage and that I was not out to get as much as I could from my wife. I believe that Christine understood my position and rationale, and she accomplished that goal. Throughout the process, I found Christine to be a highly ethical attorney and one that understood what a fair agreement for both parties meant and she steered me in that direction, i.e. a balanced resolution for both me and my wife. In addition, Connie Woods, Christine's paralegal, and Lisa Harris, Christine's, Administrative Assistant, were very helpful as I navigated the legal process and they kept me well informed as to what was going on in a timely manner. In addition, they were very supportive from an emotional perspective....support that I sorely needed. Therefore, it is with great enthusiasm and pleasure that I highly recommend Christine and her staff to anyone who is in need of a great divorce or family law attorney with a wonderful support team to assist her and her clients.
