Several years ago, after making contact with several of the largest and most well known law firms in South Carolina to discuss potential litigation against multiple parties which included one of the largest banks in the world, I was repeatedly told that because of the very complicated nature of my complaints, it would be impossible for me to prevail at the federal court level. Within a matter of days of me finally coming to the realization that litigation was not going to be possible, I just happened to see a news segment on cable television that reported on a successful class action lawsuit that had been brought against a large national bank by a member of the United States military. After reviewing numerous newspaper reports about this litigation, I learned that William B. Harvey, III's of the law firm of Harvey & Battey was the co-counsel for the plaintiffs in this matter. Upon contacting the law firm of Harvey & Battey, attorneys William 'Bill' Harvey, III and Sam Scoville not only took the time to speak to me about my complaints, but they took the time to review numerous documents and other evidence relating to what can only be described as very complicated issues surrounding a real estate transaction. Contrary to the opinions provided to me by some of the largest and most well known law firms in South Carolina who specialize in banking litigation, Bill and Sam were very confident that not only could my claims be made at the federal court level, but they were very confident that the facts and evidence were on my side and I would ultimately prevail in court. After a period of several years of litigating this matter in federal court, it is very difficult for me to express just how impressed I was with both William B. Harvey, III and Sam Scoville of the Harvey & Battey law firm. Not only was their professionalism unmatched both in and out of the federal courtroom, but their in depth knowledge about federal banking laws and real estate transactions was unparalleled. As a direct result of their outstanding efforts, they were able to accomplish what many of the largest and most well known law firms in South Carolina said would be impossible to do - they helped to resolve this matter in a way that was very favorable to me and my family! While the law firm of Harvey & Battey may not be the biggest law firm or the most well known law firm in South Carolina, I can honestly say that in my opinion, they are without any question the best law firm in South Carolina.

Okay I just got off the phone with the office and they say they do medical malpractice and when I told them about my problem with Beaufort Hospital they said they did not want to do it because they set on the board for the hospital.
