Kristen is very nice, and facilitates a warm atmosphere of trust and cooperation. However, I was very unhappy with the parenting plan she created for me and my ex. I spent many hours trying to edit a lot of unusual language in the document that we never talked about (like my ex having control over hair length and military service). But I never heard back from her about these, and many other, details in the plan. It seemed like a Frankenstein agreement, with bits and pieces from other mediations sewn together and redistributed. Also, I never met with my ex. Only with Kristen. Seemed like a missed opportunity to work out some easy problems. My advice: come up with your own plan, or use your attorneys plan, and bring it to Kristen's mediation.

Do not use Ms Jocums as a parenting coordinator. She is so hellbent on conflict avoidance that she will insist that the reasonable parent do all of the accommodating, since it would take effort on her part to get the unreasonable parent to change at all.
