The Law Office of Angela Lee

First, I feel it is only fair to note that even had I used a different attorney; I realize that the outcome may have been the same. I hired Angela Lee Law Offices at the start of January and over the next six months of services I gradually became more and more frustrated with the law firm. On three separate and individual occasions I was asked to perform a task or was provided valuable information and reached out to the law office, at which point I was told my attorney was busy and that they would be happy to take a message that apparently my attorney never received. In each of the three instances I reached out more than once at which point they acted like they had no clue what I was talking about. After I had to inform them of my arraignment date, due to a lack of communication between my attorney and the court, my attorney informed me that they would be able to appear for me at the court date, which they did. Almost a month after the arraignment date, three emails, and multiple phone calls; I still had not heard from my attorney about the arraignment and the follow up court date. At this point I let my attorney know that I was displeased with the service. The quality of service continued to be sub-standard. At one point I contacted other law offices for a second option, where I was told my attorney had made a mess of my case and that it would be hard to do better for me. This law office explained to me that my attorney was dropping the ball with not only communication but financially to and that they should have been sending me an invoice every month, which they had not been doing amongst other things. In short, I do not feel that the law firm is organized and I strongly feel they are looking for an easy paycheck, one which they can do very little work for a bigger reward. Unless your case is very simple or high profile then I would suggest looking for a different attorney.

My sister went to Angela for her divorce about five years ago. She racked up 6k in fees and barely made it out a year later with said divorce. My father went to John Meyers (don't ask me why...I guess he thought a different lawyer in the same office might work out) and spent 2k, just to do a substantial amount of the grunt work and receive bad advice. Three weeks without a returned phone call, then a call back on the last day to file an appeal! I'd say these guys are pretty good at swindling those unfamiliar with the law out of their hard earned money - that's about it. Go elsewhere.

Google reviews this is not written by a disgruntled former client or any other malcontent, this is written in honesty that this law office is unprofessional and does not serve the client well.I was told by the state to contact this law office as an alternative but soon found out that the business practices are unprofessional in my case a lot of money was spent and not much progress was made in my family law case. For my family we had to make the decision to fire this law firm and find another to satisfy the case appropriately.The office management is good but the practice and the attorneys are not. Any interested parties should do research on this Law Firm first before deciding to hire, there is many negative reviews posted and they are accurate. Many of the positive reviews were solicited by the law firm.The personal recommendation is not to choose this Law Firm and to utilize funding on a more proactive Law Firm.

The Law Office of Angela Lee went above and beyond for us. We consulted Angela and she referred our case to John Michael Myers for our family law requirements. John Michael was friendly, knowledgeable, composed, organized, direct and a force to be reckoned with during litigation. He was incredibly methodical during the entire process and remained fluid during unexpected changes. Jordan Rhodes, the paralegal for John Michael, worked diligently on our documents, was quick with response time and greeted us with a smile every time.Every staff member we interacted with was friendly, helpful and professional. Angela, John Michael, Jordan, Kevin, Debra, April, Skye, Tiffany and Pepper; thank you for everything.

I have known Angela Lee for a very long time. She is the most professional and compassionate person I know. I had the pleasure of working a case with Angela and she was very thorough, detailed oriented, compassionate, and extremely successful with the case at hand. I always felt she was in the client's corner and communication with her firm was effortless. If you want an honest, hard working, trusting Lawyer who will be by your side every step of the way do not hesitate to use Angela Lee and her firm. I was very impressed with the results and I am sure you will be too!

Angela Lee is as bright as they come. She has been very helpful to me over the past couple years, and I feel very confident she has my back as my attorney. She seems honest and open as well. Lately, Angela and her husband Kevin have been indispensable in sorting out some real estate/will nonsense I have been going through. They are both friendly, professional, patient, competent, and willing to help.

Horrible!! I would rate this 0 stars if I could. Basically wasted $10,000 trying to just get to see my daughter and all I got is a ten thousand dollar stack of papers and never got to see my daughter once!! John Michael Myers basically lied to me telling me what he would do, and never did a thing. He would wait until the Respondent would do something. Then try to negotiate and counter what had already been put into place and say ' it's kinda out of our control'. I feel like there were alot of times he was actually working for her ( child's mom) and not myself at all. He definitely didn't have my best interests in mind and I would NOT recommend these people at ALL. This office is a complete joke!! Don't make the $10,000 mistake that I made. Lesson learned.

I find it strange how many 5 star reviews will come in all at the same time...but it also wouldn't surprise me if they pay people to leave them, it matches their fraudulent practice. I noticed a couple of the same 5 star reviews are posted on yelp..word for word, with the person's history of reviews having only that 1 comment on both sites. They've also asked clients to remove negative reviews and threaten to sue if you don't. With that being said this review is my honest opinion and states how I feel. It is in no way stating credible facts. Maybe they should think about what they are doing to their clients lives and treat them as they would want to be treated. Maybe that would help if they gave everyone a reason to leave a positive review. I won't get into what they have done to me personally, but it is in regards to Angela setting false expectations, being wonderful at first, ends with completely screwing my family, doing absolutely nothing that she promised while being handed the retainer fee, then ends up dropping the case, and mails a 12k bill. It looks like I am not alone as many others have had a very similar issue with her so called representation. I don't know how she sleeps at night living a life of lies, fraud, and greed, not to mention making a dishonest living by taking advantage of clients. If the OSB doesn't come after her I believe karma will, big time.

Angela lee is the best. She and Kevin where able too keep the stocking order in place that I have against the man that stole my truck... The man that was stocking my family and me, He also tried too move three down from my house .. I believe with out her that my family's life and mine would be hell.. My husband also has another legal issues coming up and I hired her again too handle this case. When Angela tells me I will be fine I believe her and I sleep at peace knowing my husband is in good hands. Thanks to her staff and Kevin.

I just love Angela and her staff . I have confidence in her to win and do what is right. She won our case for us. Back in september of 2017. when she says 'I have your back and I got this don't worry. It's the truth . Angela and her team is awesome. I sleep well at night know she is my attorney..

I have known Kevin and Angela for several years. I've done work with their firm. They have always been fair open and honest. A shame to see an orchestrated smear campaign against these great people. Wouldn't hesitate to give them my highest recommendation.

Angela Lee is an excellent attorney. She cares about her clients and she and her staff are very responsive. Angela gives excellent advice and is very detail oriented. She works extremely hard to achieve the best result possible. I highly recommend her and her firm.

She worked on my dear fathers will and estate and was great!Having to deal with a sibling who was a piece of work, money hungry, and a pain in everyones side. Angie and staff handled the situation with helped me out greatly.She was our saving grace.

Angi is a great attorney! She takes extremely difficult cases and seeks out the best possible resolution. She truly cares about her clients.

She is corrupt too the utmost extent! WALKED OUT as defense attorney on a public defender case she had won. because client would have been released because defense didn't have a witness. She is a prosecuter pretending to be a defense attorney. She should never be allowed too represent anybody. The Oregon State bar should suspend her immediately. Don't use her unless you like prison life!

I don't understand the one-star reviews for Angela. My experience could not be further from those. Angela was referred to me from my assigned Legal Shield legal firm (Kivel & Howard LLP, Portland) regarding her specific skills would be better suited for my needs. I am so glad they did! I had a family matter involving my father that had me completely stressed out. She took the case and treated it like it was her own family, at least that is how it felt to me, and what I desperately needed at the time. I had a professional on my side. All the matters were resolved and I've since contacted her office for some additional LLC legal work. Her office's quote was much less than the Legal Shield attorney and SO much better to deal with. Angela's office treats me like a human and even though these are legal matters, they are not cold and impersonal like the Portland firm which was like talking to a robot or worse if you reach the owner.

If your looking for an outstanding attorney, your in the right place...Highly Recommended

I have done business with The Law Office of Angela Lee for many years. I have always found them to be professional, responsive, excellent communicators and maintain a professional staff.

This woman dropped out of my case one day before the court date leaving to represent myself in a five-day trail which I lost... She was a cold woman, all talk, even refused to give me back my retainer even tho she didn't even have a file created for my case. KARMA IS COMING FOR YOU ~Joe Kent changed me an arm and leg but never stole from me like this woman did. DON'T TRUST THIS PERSON

She stalled my case out for over two years. After spending all my money, then asking for more. I asked her to provide me with proof of what she had done on my case to show why she had gone through $10,000 with no plan or expert witness. She then quit right before trial leaving me penniless and without representation. She then took it upon herself to inform the courts I had fired her so when I showed up for trial readiness they threw me in jail for not having a lawyer, saying I was stalling the trial.

With this firm on your side you will Titanic. Massive delays, poor communication, and bad legal advice will have you jumping ship inspite of your financial losses. Choosing them two years ago was the worse mistake I ever made, aside from the jerk I married.

Beware! If your specifically looking to work with Angela you most likely won't. She'll pawn u off to one of her interns which we had a very bad experience with. Extremely over priced and poor communication. We ended up going to someone else half way through our case.

Just spoke with Cynthia Ms.Lee's assistant and man was it good to have someone actually finally listen for once. Usually these days people are trying to cut you off before you get a chance to speak. NOT the case here which was pure music to my ears!!

I wish there was a way to leave ZERO stars. this place sucks. you cant pay people for 5 star reviews.

This lady cares about money, not her clients. I do not recommend her.

I wish I could write a good review for this firm, but after numerous times trying to get their office to call me back and return my phone calls, they ended up quitting my case and caused a lot of unnecessary stress 2 weeks before I was supposed to be in court. I don't think it's too much to ask for a return phone call or email with in a few days.

Unprofessional and unethical!!!! Do your research before retaining this crook! ANGELA LEE HAS BEEN DISCIPLINED BY STATE LICENSING AUTHORITY!!!!!
