Cook has been an awesome lawyer for me for over 30 years always professional and straight forward.

Jay cook is my lawyer and is a wonderful person and lawyer I was terrified and he assured me it would be ok. Well went to court and it was over. Almost before it started. Got what I asked for. He's a great lawyer and is use him again if needed

Its been a while, but I dealt with Roger Hilfiger for my mothers estate. He isnt always easy to get ahold of because the clients he defends in criminal cases come first (understandably). However I feel that Mr. Hilfiger is a man of integrity which is very important to me, especially in the case of a lawyer.

I had no knowledge of how the law worked when I found my self in trouble with a life sentence .I did my share of talking to lawyers and in fear for my life and let me tell you I was told over and over that this was not a good deal and after talking with Mr R.j.cook I hired him not for What he said but because of what he Dident say .he just tells it like it is but this man knows the law and he is so laid back and won't be pushed. If you want a LAWER that will do the best that can be done for you this is who you need to see.!!!

This review is in regards to Roger Hilfiger. The only reason I haven't given five stars is because I haven't been to court yet. However my experience so far has been nothing but five star experience.I've never had to hire a criminal attorney before. The circumstances surrounding it are by nature not pleasant. Some people are used to this.. I'm not. I was scared to death of all attorneys because the only other attorney I've ever dealt with (a family law/custody atty) was so rude, inconsiderate, and unwilling to listen that I truly thought ' wow I bet a criminal attorney must be much worse' (and was MY attorney ) I couldn't even ask (the other atty) a question without him looking at me or making a rude remark like I was an idiot. In one case he gave me FIVE minutes before the hearing to talk to him) It was a very demeaning and incredibly expensive experience. I am HAPPY to say but I have had the OPPOSITE experience with Mr. Hilfiger. He, in my opinion, has the perfect balance of listening and keeping me on track with the facts. After all, we the people hire attorneys because we don't know what we're doing in legal situations. Legal situations are usually going to have anxiety, fear , confusion and sometimes anger, grief, revenge attached. Judges are judges (and all judges were once attorneys) and they do their jobs going by the book and the book. Emotions usually have no place in the courtroom. A good attorney knows how to 'sort the wheat from the chaff' if you will. Roger Hilfiger has listened to me and our meetings and kept me to the facts. I am extremely nervous and anxious about going to court. However he has never ever once made me feel stupid silly or ignorant for asking a question and that is how it should be. Thank you Mr. Hilfiger.
