Mike Sheets is a fantastic attourney. My husband and I are not from the Dayton/ Fairborn area, were about 3 1/2 south. We were visiting Fairborn and ended having some legal issues. We were charged with Petty Theft and Rec. stollen property Both an M1. The way the police report was worded made the situation look way worse than it was. Michael Sheets made it possible for us to stay home while he took care of pretty much all of it in court. We only had to make one trip back to Fairborn for the final court hearing. He was able to work out a deal with the prosecution that the Rec. Stollen Property Charge was dropped and the Petty Theft charge was amended to a smaller M4 charge. We didnt have to serve any jail time (when at the time of the incident we were told we were going to jail for a long time). Mr. Sheets is a very hard working man and he knows the law inside and out. He is very fast and thorough. This man gets the job done!! If you need a lawyer in the Dayton area Michael Sheets is the way to go!!!

I went in to this office not knowing what to think. We are going through the private adoption process and also have an unique foster child situation going on. I was Nervous and Apprehensive going in, but left feeling better reassured that there are good lawyers who truly wanted to help. I asked my questions and then asked what I owed him. He replied give me an honest review. I offered a retainer fee and money for the visit but he declined until services were rendered. Even did a follow up call when a situation arose with our once foster child and once again he was more than polite and wouldn't take any money until he had to do something for us. If you are looking for an attorney who will take your money and then quit right before you go to trial then Michael Sheets is the attorney for you. I had a horrible experience with him and found out he never even sent out the subpoenas that were necessary for my trial. When questioned about why he failed to do the job he said he would do, he just quits and leaves the client to clean up the mess. Review his contract carefully and you will see how 1 sided it is.
