Amanda is an excellent attorney, handling both my divorce and child custody needs. She was recommended to me by a close friend who is a well respected professional in the judicial system who could have recommended anyone to me. I was recommended and sent to Amanda Mason. I was pleased in every aspect of working with her. My case was very complex, involving a business, children, and several unique issues. Every penny spent with her was worth it. She was fair in her billing and her use of time. In the end I was awarded custody of my children and very fair equitable distribution and child support. Amanda has been my attorney for about 4 years or so. She is honest and trustworthy I really appreciate that she is upfront and tells you things as they are. Amanda handled my Child Support case, Temporary Custody, Emergency Custody, Permanent Custody and she made it possible for me to move out of State with my son as to transfer Custody Jurisdiction to my new home State which is nearly impossible to do in NC. We couldnt have asked for a better lawyer. My husbands previous attorney was slow to respond and didnt fight for what he wanted or what was in the best interest of the child, she just went with status quo of a divorce. We wanted to find someone who would meet our expectations this time around as we were fighting for custody of his son and she did not disappoint. Amanda was very honest about what we should and shouldnt be concerned about, and even pivoting in the course of action which was still fair and reasonable, but in the childs best interest. She stayed cool, calm, and collective and stayed focused on what we came to do instead of the little things that dont matter to the judge. She makes you feel comfortable during trial and keeps you true to yourself. She is worth every penny and then some. Her paralegals are amazing as well - they have a fantastic leader to learn from.

I could not ask for anymore when it comes to child custody/divorce/financial mediation legal services from Ms. Mason. She is knowledgeable of the law, provides prompt returns to messages and questions and her staff is top notch. Divorce is a stressful thing to go through, but if you have to go through it, you will want to have Ms. Mason on your side.
