Marcia avoided my phone calls & requests for a meeting to prepare for trial for weeks. When court date arrived, she offered her services for free. She did not speak with my to listen or hear my grievances before the trial & assumed I wanted to negotiate for a third time with my ex. She poorly represented me, did not ask the right questions, and I will never refer her services to anyone.

From the first initial phone call with Charlie Bullock to communicating with Laura (the receptionist) I am nothing but satisfied. Charlie was so polite and honest and didn't change the price we had originally talked about as I've had done before. And Laura, was so informative and polite. We were in constant contact throughout the whole process and she was prompt in answering all my questions for me. I would 10/10 recommend them to anyone!!!!

Mr Bullock made false statement about the plaintiffs income and educational level in effort to deprive a child of the proper amount of support. Mr Bullock also took a case that was not winnable for client, refused to return phone calls to his client and closed the case after he exhausted his client funds with legal fees. His client received notice by the defendant that the case was closed not Mr. Bullock. His behavior is unethical if not criminal (is lieing to a judge in a child support case criminal) if not it should be. I witnessed all these behaviors first hand. If you want to hire an expensive lawyer who's behavior is unethical and possibly illegal then Bullock is your guy. P.S. All of the responses to complaints are meet with salty comeback, accusations of dishonesty, put downs or reassignment of blame. How is this type of behavior professional? This law firm clearly needs help.

I had called numerous attorneys desperately needing information and quotes. Called the offices of Stewart, Schmidlin and Bullock, and sweet Laura, their receptionist picked up. She was able to calm me down, I was extremely stressed and anxious. She explained the procedure and quoted me for my sons case. She assured me they would dispute for the best outcome.Laura was always polite, professional and sweet. She was readily available everytime I would call her.My son visited their office to meet with Laura and he was ecstatic afterwards. He said he was treated with respect, professionalism by all staff specially Laura! Coming from a shy teen I was extremely happy to hear that.Needless to say that everything worked out for the best! Definitely the best decision that I made was choosing them to represent my sons case. Highly recommend them!!

Working with Charlie and Crystal has been such a pleasure. They have gone above and beyond for me during this process. They have both been extremely honest with me, even if it wasn't something I wanted to hear at the time. I had more success in the court room than what Charlie even told me I would have. They are so efficient, quick to respond to e-mails, professional, available and caring. It isn't just about providing a service to them, it is personal. When my daughter had to stay home from school they even kept her in their office on the day that I had to be present in court. I will never go to another law firm again as long as they are in business!!!If you need a lawyer who knows the law and is not afraid of other lawyers than look no further. For one of the worst things to happen in my life they made the experience as pleasant as it could be for me. This is an excellent business with responsive and friendly service. I was referred here by Thom Goolsby in New Hanover County. As a previous client the communication was terrible. NEVER a returned call, with messages left on voicemails and with front desk. Mr.Bullock would only reply to emails from time to time. I would only get calls back asking for more money every few months. The results in court were mid-grade. I have attempted to hire him again as he worked this custody case before and left multiple voicemails and messages with the receptionist over the past month and no call back. Its hard when you try to hire someone and GIVE THEM MONEY but they can't simply return a call. Yet, once you hire them, they come up with additional costs in order to move the case forward.

So I had an old 2012 speeding ticket that was going to have my license taken for 6 months because I had gone 20 miles over the limit well My lawyer not only cut me a break with the cost but also got rid of my FTA that followed by it even though I did all the leg work I had to show the DA that I had a lawyer because Smithfield DA are the worst ppl I mean no need to be rude and aggressive and so come Monday thats why my lawyer won my case.
