If you want a bulldog for an attorney who will fight for you and get your case resolved in an efficient, effective and sometimes entertaining manner, retain Carrie. Ms. Walters just worked on 3 separate cases for me and I got everything I asked for regarding an ongoing divorce dispute. Divorce is horrible but Carrie Walters is the person I highly recommend if anyone is forced down that unfortunate path. Now I get to see my 7 year old son for more than 2-3 hours at a time once a week.

Extremely unprofessional! Shows up late or not at all, acts childish when the judge leaves the room, tries to order everyone around (even the bailiffs). I wouldn't invite her to a cookout, let alone hire her. Run the opposite direction if you're looking for a good attorney.

Not happy. I hired Ms. Walters to handle my divorce, quit claim deed for my house, & custody. I paid $2,000. I did receive my divorce & court paperwork notarized stating that. I did not receive any other paperwork but supposedly my case is closed. I gave her the only copy of the deed to my house. I have not received that back or even anything showing that the quit claim deed was filed in court. I have called about that & no response. Also, in the process of getting the paperwork ready, I was sent a draft. It was horribly done. I had to edit 90% of it because it was wrong on so many of the details. I purposely looked for a female attorney & she was very disappointing. Im sure if there was any of the $ that I paid that really wasnt accounted for in time or any of the fees that goes along with this type of stuff, it was kept & definitely wouldnt receive any of it back. Now I need to try to refinance my house but what do I show or even have as proof that my ex husband has signed a quit claim deed? I have absolutely nothing!

I am not sure why some of the latest reviews are so low but Id like to say that my husband and I hired Ms. Walters to handle a child custody case for us and we were very happy with the outcome and her work. We orginally was seeking every other weekend custody of my husbands child. She advised us of what we needed to be on the look out incase we needed to file emergency custody. Prior to Ms. Walters getting court etc set up we realized that the mother was about to split town. We contacted her and IMMEDIATELY she got the papers drawn up for emergency custody and the child was placed in our care. After reviewing medical records and seeing the neglect we then went for primary custody. We were very satisfied. She replied back to us in a timely manner and helped us alot. If she was not quick then we may not have my husbands child and he could have been anywhere living in very poor conditions. We will soon be using Ms Walters again in the near future. ms. walters is incompetent she brown nosing in rowan county. thats the judge. She git smashed on some lies and will paid for her conspiracy with DSS supervisor McClattie and the judge. Im going to max and you will be looking for a new job. She dont qualify. She full of lies backed by Chief judge Charlie Brown bias and prejudice. Caught in many lies Walters and Xiong case 18cvd596 got punish by God. The Lord of Host the Father in heaven the only son in name of Jesus helped me get throughJudge Brown's abuse of how stupid i was not taking court appointed lawyers and that i dont know anything bashing me , i almost grabbed my stuff and left but i had my brother's bible he passed in 2016 it had power to defeat the Tyrant Brown and like God promised shot them witj arrow of confusion for thier evil work, conspiring to destroy me and my sons for their gain in monetary and advancement. I will not stop till all of yall get your reward you deserved. Love how Judge Brown gave you that death stare , turning all red when you sat back down instantly wanting to come get my evidence that when petition is sign by a judge it must be taken to the clerk immediately. Then i just walk down from witness stand without the Bailiff shadowing like he did when i went up to witness stand because Wendy Xiong was in fear of her life as states by her and thaught by the conspirators. Walk down by myself i pass the plaintiff table and told my wife i loved her everyone knew we won Wendy . Why didn't you come home ? I needed you the most and you knew i was gonna win you back and the boyz. They all knew, the baliff, the staff,and Ms. Walters. We set up to be the very last of cases, for we were called mid way through but was told to sit back down. I see the corruption already and knew it was coming , Thank God he answer me. Im just one of the best electrician in Charlotte with the best Team WB Moore electric. How you like that Carrie. You aint ready . Evil cant and wont defeat Righteousness.

I do not recommend this attorney..she will not fight for you. But will be more than glad to take your money. She won't show up in court. But will make it seem as if she's doing everything in the world to win your case. Very unprofessional. She doesnt listen to you when you talk and ignores anything you try to recommend her include into your case. This is just a heads up. Save your time and money. Hire a real lawyer who cares. Im kicking myself right now. I should've done more research. And i still dont have my son She was never available. Missed court dates. Told me that i wouldnt have been able to handle anything without her. She told me she charged $150 per hour. I gave her the card number over the phone. Without signing any contract. And she took out way more than she was suppose to. The NC Bar Association states that money paid to the lawyer shall remain in the firms account until it is considered earned. She didn't seem to care. And the worst part is. She thinks she has done a good job on my case. All she did was rush through it. And now my son is still living with his mother and her abusive girlfriend. Even with the DSS testimony. My sons testimony. And pictures of his wounds that she didn't care to even look into. She said none of that mattered. I bet it would matter if it were one of her kids or family members that were being abused by someone in her family. ALL SHE WANTS IS THE MONEY. AND A QUICK RESOLUTION. It doesnt matter if its the resolution you want or not. Warning: Stay far away from this attorney.
