First, I never write reviews. However, the exceptional legal advice, professionalism and overall experiences with this law firm, particularly with Katie King, have been well above what I could have hoped for when hiring an attorney. Katie has consistently provided me with sound, well-thought out advice. She has truly been my advocate. Katie always takes the time to explain the law, ensure I understand the legal process, what to expect, best/worst case scenario and advises me accordingly. She is a class-act, consistently holding herself accountable to the law, the community and her clients. Hiring Katie King/Wake Family law has been one of the best decisions Ive ever made.

I would definitely recommend Wake Family Law, especially Katie King, who I had the pleasure of working with for over a year time frame as my situation was very complex. With that being said, I was able to get a true picture of who Katie King was as a person and attorney. I was very particular with who I worked with because of the severity and delicacy this situation was for me.I needed someone to be honest, patient, proactive, and knowledgeable. She is certainly not greedy, because my chances of succeeding were slim at first. From her professional opinion, she said to wait. She could have strung me along and made a lot more money. Instead, she was honest and had so much experience in the past to add to her credibility. It saved me over $10,000 and headaches,, and I am so thankful. I ended up waiting and followed every step she gave me. She helped me get my 'ducks in a row'. She was completely transparent from day one. Not only that, she has an amazing team who were there for me as well. There were certain situations that did arise that I felt were possible threats to my positive outcome. Her team responded immediately in such a professional way and left me at ease. Even though I was new to the process and procedures, there was such warmth and compassion that it made the long journey manageable. I will always recommend Katie and the firm to anyone I know. I will tell you that the process wasn't exactly what I wanted to hear as it was lengthy. Katie followed every rule and procedure to the T. She was honest with every dollar, including the simple copying charge that the court house has, so bring an extra copy! There was a situation in our case where Katie could have continued with what we had. However, she was so precise that she wanted to give the other side a fair chance. Katie is so good at what she does that she doesn't need to cut corners. It just isn't Katie's way.There were many moments that my emotions were so heightened that I just wanted the outcome to go in my favor and be done with. Katie was so calm and rational throughout the whole process that I am so grateful for her.At first, I started off as a client. When I left, I considered Wake Family Law family as they had done so much and went above and beyond. I can't thank them enough!

Mark sokol and his team are second-to-none in Raleigh North Carolina. They are not divorce attorneys would rather family law attorneys meaning they help families reconcile. There is a huge distinction as I have experienced both and at the end of the day I would recommend wake family law and more importantly Marc Sokol anyone else he would recommend. (I pray I spelled his name correctly but if you go to their website you'll be able to see as he is one of the first attorneys on the website and it's been practicing since the mid-to-late 70s, I believe. Class act all the way around!)

Kelley Cash is the best attorney EVER. She has helped me through the most difficult time in my life. At the beginning of this nightmare, my ex took my children and left town. Hire this law firm if you want to spend thousands of dollars + a few hundred dollar consult fee only to be belittled when you don't want to keep spending money without proven work being done. I think Marc Sokol put it best to me: lawyers don't return retainers. The best part is they take a huge retainer, then they expect you to refill it as they spend money each month - so basically plan on double to triple the cost quoted, but they aren't required to perform... OH! and if you do not agree with the costs they will fire you, keep the money, and are not polite when they do (comes with belittling and all as an added bonus!)! 5 stars because they got my money - they are achieving the only goal set out for themselves: money. Thank god I figured out their MO before I went all in.

She's consistently knowledgeable, practical, effective and well-prepared. It's important to me to work with people who are honest in their dealings. She is. Very disappointing experience. I gave the paralegal my case info so when we set down for our $300 1 hour consult we would have the information we needed to proceed or not. When we met with the attorney; no research was done, most unprofessional attire for an attorney Ive ever seen (would never have allowed her to represent me in court), the paralegal never called me back. I called them repeatedly and several weeks after bugging them they called back to tell me there was nothing we could do. Uncaring, money grabbing firm that i would never allow to represent me.
