Valentine should lose his practice and never be allowed to represent anyone again. I have never encountered a more unprofessional, belligerent, incompetent, unskilled lawyer in all of my years working with them. He has been reported to the bar several times. Do NOT use this man!

My fiance was looking to finalize his divorce and this law firm was so helpful! They remained steadfast to complete the divorce and I believe it only took a few months! The receoptionist kept in contact with me every step of the way. Great experience!

Attorney Steve Valentine is a thief and has been reported to the NC bar multiple times. He is way over priced and frankly does nothing for his clients. He is going through a divorce and needs all the money he can to keep his country club membership that cost 20k annually. I personally know he owes Private Investigators money for his personal divorce and his clients. He does not pay his vendors and does a piss poor job in the court room. I dont know his partner but stay away from Steve and find a good attorney that will help you. You are welcome!

David McFayden is perhaps the poorest communicator I have ever encountered in any capacity. Given the amount of fees paid, I found him to be incredibly unresponsive, and he was unhelpful in bringing the case to a quick resolution, which was my number one priority. He took 18 months. Prior to hiring him, I would seriously recommend that you visit a number of other lawyers to evaluate experience, fees and timeframe for resolution of a case. You need to make a well informed decision when hiring an attorney. You need an attorney who will communicate with you regularly, can develop a clear strategy and deliver the outcome you expect. Personally, after spending a lot of money, I did not have a positive experience with Mr. McFayden, and I would not recommend hiring him.Regards,Randall Casper
