Attorney Frank McFarland represented my son in Watauga County & we live in McDowell County. Our family realized that my son was not going to be represented justly by the Watauga Cty. attorneys so we spoke with King Law. Attorney McFarland made trips to Watauga Cty. to research the case & acclimate himself to the environment, DA & court system in Watauga Cty. This was going to be a tough case that could swing one way, or the other. On the day of the court case Attorney McFarland represented my son with a sound voice, professionalism and confidence in the areas that needed to be addressed. The other attorneys in Watauga Cty. would & did not communicate facts on behalf of my son that Attorney McFarland addressed to the court. To make a long story short, my sons case turned out in a positive way to the point where a couple of other attorneys from Watauga Cty. came up shaking Attorney McFarlands hand saying, You did a great job with this case. Attorney McFarland who represents King Law is an attorney that has your best interest at heart with great communication and listening skills. The burden our family was saddled with regarding this case was lifted when we spoke & retained King Law in McDowell County. Thank you King Law and Attorney McFarland.

I was disappointed with King Law offices after I called to get legal services for a traffic violation in Mcdowell county. I was unable to speak with anyone to obtain information about cost of services until I first paid 50$ just to speak with an administrative person who was not an attorney. I paid the fee and then was able to get vague information about what the attorney may be able to hep me with for a cost of 750$.

i used king law not long ago they made everything sound so good at first but didnt know i was being billed for everytime i talked with someone besides the lawyer that should have been told to me and i timed everything was in the office 7 minutes and in court room for maybe 40 minutes and it costed me as much as it did now im being billed for things that never went to court im not a happy camper sorry i am having to write this but fair is fair if i had knew this i would have went elsewhere and very unhappy

Great place to work with. Got a speeding ticket going 21 over the speed limit. ( just not paying attention to my speed and trying to get to work on time). They were able to get it dropped! Highly recommended.

I've never been more disappointed...my case began in Oct 2017 when I was served simple divorce papers. I hired McFarland in hopes he would work for me. Money paid, 3 appointments at which he was 30 min. late every appointment, with almost every appointment the wrong information. The day of court June 11 2018 I was notified one hour before court. Was lied to about they had tried to contact me for weeks, I do have voice mail...But on his behalf I did receive a email the morning of court one an a half hours before court an I live three counties away... As of date two months after the divorce was finalized on June 11 2018 tons of calls and emails I still haven't received my divorce papers. I was finally notified today from McFarlands secretary my hard copy was in the mail. Several thousand hard earned dollars were spent on someone who I hired to work for me, that in the end did not want to work for the money he was paid. I do not reccomend Frank McFarland an will not reccomend him to anyone

I first called in hopes of getting child support and a custody agreement. I spoke with Brandon Janes. He was great and really seamed like he heard me! After being given an estimate of $1500 I retained him, several thousands of dollars later I had him removed from the case. It robbed me of so many rights, I feel I could have just burnt the money, I would have turned out better. I pray people do not trust the friendly, dishonest first call. This man should not be in law. Now I have a new attorney who looked over Brandon's mess and was he was surprised at how poorly done it all was!
