Don't fall for the advertising! Their National advertising makes you think they have some special knowledge or experience that will help you, the Father, prevail. They DO NOT! They promised tax specialists, and claimed to be experts on Father issues. I experienced none of this. The local lawyers and staff are nice people, sure, but they are not nearly the best lawyers in town. They missed several key details on my case that still plague me to this day. The bigger firm of 'Cordell and Cordell' is basically just an National advertising firm who prey upon the emotions of fathers to OVER CHARGE you while getting mediocre results. I used them in my divorce, paid 3 times as much as my ex wife did, and during negotiations it was obvious my ex wife's lawyer knew way more about the law and taxes and was able to use that to win big concessions. I even ended up having to pay a significant portion of my ex's lawyer fees!! Luckily she was actually reasonably priced. Wish I would have hired her! Guys, I get it, I felt the emotional tug too, but don't fall for the advertising, there are much much better divorce lawyers in town.

C and C was very attentive to my needs and sympathetic to my situation. They guided me well through this tough time of my life. Would use their services again but hopefully I won't need to.

Divorcing after 31 years wasn't a easy-going task. It affects not only me and my ex-wife and our finance's, but also the children and grandchildren. The stress were almost unbearable at times and hadn't it not been for my Lawyer, Elizabeth Moser in my corner with her guidance. I would of just lost it.Thanks to her professional skills and dedication,I wouldn't have been in a better position that I am in today. Worst attorneys ever. They are liars and thieves. There attorney blew my case I had people walking up in the court room handing me business cards telling me when I want a real attorney call them. They owe me 5 grand. Cordell and cordell is trash.

'A partner a man can count on'... This line made me hopeful I found a firm that truly had the best interest of the man during a divorce regarding child custody . The truth is they were nothing more than professional billing artists only interested in finding ways to take your money during an emotionally trying time. In the end I paid this firm over $10,000 for a non contested divorce. I sent an email with a question, they charge me $100 to respond. I ask for a phone conversation, they put me on the calendar 3 weeks always and charge me $150. I tell them I don't agree with their billing and they tell me everything is done with my case and all I needed was to go in front of a judge to answer 10 questions and it is done. Lies. After all the money I spent I had to finish the divorce myself (2 months after they lied to drop me as a client). Do not trust this firm. In the end you are nothing more than a payday to them. Don't deceive yourself to think they care about you, your kid, or your case.

Referred my good friend to this firm based on its claims of being a father's advocacy firm. No men work there so that should have been a first red flag. My friend did all the leg work for the firm because they never seemed to stay on top of things. If you choose the Cordell group you will lose thousands of dollars to get absolutely no where.

This firm missed important details like who claims the dependents on taxes, a critical mistake, especially if you are a solid breadwinner. There were numerous other issues as well. I essentially had to steer my council through the process.If you are good with it taking 1 1/2+ years to finalize your simple divorce, then by all means C&C is a great choice.

Im trying to stop child support that I've over paid for the last 5 to 6yrs 30k over and counting....I hired this firm out of Texas due to the divorce was done while i was stationed at Ft Hood, Easy fix I thought their in Texas and this men count on men bullcrap got me, I had to put down $2500 just for them to handle my case and the sent all the paperwork to Greensboro NC Child support to handle, Basically the CS agency here laugh at me and its been two months and they have not even look at it. I over paid thousands of dollars and now this. Run..... your wasting your time, and money with this firm. I really felt used.

Horrible experience.. $12,000 in debt and nothing done except temporary child custody.Update: I finally had enough with them after my third lawyer because the other two quit the firm and each time I had to go in and get the new attorneys up to speed. But I don't blame the attorneys for quitting if they treat them the same way they do as clients. I cannot stress enough that you should stay away from these people and just hire the small lawyer in your small town. I wish everyday I did.

Getting a divorce is never a good situation. With Cordell&Cordell they were greatly appreciated for the way that they handled the divorce for me and most of all the timely fashion . Thanks once again with great measure.

Lisa is an excellent negotiator with broad knowledge of family law. With me at every step of a year-long negotiation and dealt effectively with complex financial issues and her legal counterparts. She was a steady hand - highly recommend!

I was very apprehensive about obtaining a lawyer and just overwhelmed at the whole process. Cordell & Cordell put me at ease from the first time I entered the office. Elizabeth Moser was my attorney and did an outstanding job walking me through my child custody battle. I always felt like I had someone on my side and someone who would fight for me in court if. She outlined the entire process and prepared me every step of the way. Elizabeth Moser and Cordell & Cordell not only helped me see my children more, but also made the child custody process a lot less stressful.

Money hungry law firm. Friends had horrible experience with Lisa and her astraunomical fees and charges with no results.
