When I called Mr. Clint Hester I was lost. My husband had just died and I had no idea how to go about things. He listened to my issues without judgement and gave me sound advice. I never once felt like he didnt care about what I was going through. He was very professional and caring even though my issue was simple and wouldnt make him any money. I would 100% reccomend his services. If you are looking for not only great legal advice, but a geniunely compassionate human being call today.

Firstly, let me say that I am a product of Bladen County. I was raised there and at one point, I returned to teach in the Bladen County School system. Although my only interaction with the firm was the result of following up on a real estate listing this morning, I was treated with disrespect and totally disregarded when I asked about the price of the property in the Elizabethtown area. The office staff was extremely rude and unprofessional. I even overheard an employee in the background telling her colleague on the phone, 'You can just hang up on him.' A first impression means a lot; therefore, if my family and friends in the area ever needed legal services, this firm would not be used.

Very unprofessional. Continued to contact me directly although I had legal representation, which is unethical..Has threatened taking me to court for being the trustee of my relative's estate because he wanted to have control of the funds of a woman who should be declared incompetent, which is also a conflict of interest since he was her attorney. I eventually took them to court to resign which is what he had in mind the entire time.

When I stepped into the office of Hester, Grady and Hester I was greeted with a smile and a friendly face. Stepping into an attorneys office can be rather intimidating to start with. However, the receptionist will put you at ease immediately. This day I met with office manager, Lora Jernigan-Rigsbee and was also greeted with a smile and total professionalism. She was able to assist me with a business matter making it a pleasant office visit. I have in the past met with Mr. Hester who is a true, compassionate southern gentleman. I recommend this office for their honesty and integrity.

My family has had business with this office for years. Stopped in today and overheard the office manager talking horribly to the other staff members. You would have thought they were dogs! She has talked over my father-in-law and been very rude to him on the phone multiple times before. So sad to witness this in person. Otherwise, the other members of the staff are great. No office needs this type of person at the helm.

Gathey is amazing. I was lead to believe I needed to have a lawyer appear for me in court this was not true. Even though I would not be paying any money to this law firm Gathey went out of her way to make sure I had everything I needed to take care of this issue on my own. Based on her alone i would recommend this law firm and can only imagine every one involved is as helpful as she was.

Hester, Grady, & Hester P.L.L.C is my go to office for any attorney needs!! ALL of the staff are very helpful & have helped me with traffic violations as well as family court. I have dealt with them for over 10 years. Free consultations & they stay busy which tells me they are doing something right!! I plan to use them very soon for my real estate needs as well! I highly recommend them.

The receptionist woman is one of the absolute rudest people I have ever encountered in my life. She snapped at me the entire time we were on the phone and demanded to know 'are you going to hire us or not?' after berating me and scoffing at me. If I hadn't been alone, vulnerable, and far from home I would have said 'Hell no!' Absolutely avoid this place. She has NO business working anywhere with people. Zero empathy. They even made me come to the office in person, which completely defeats the point of hiring someone else to take care of things, since I live far away. Not sure if it was some sort of damage control, but it was completely unnecessary.

We had hired Mr. Grady to do a motion for appropriate relief for my husband to get his license back. The first motion actually ended up hurting him more than it helped. When we went back and explained the situation they went back to court and fixed the situation at no further cost to us. I would use them in the future with no hesitation.

Went for a simple transfer of deed. Had to rewrite the paperwork for spelling errors. I was supposed to file it myself, but they told me for 5 weeks that the paperwork wasn't available because they had filed it already, then it turned back up. When I did try to file it at the courthouse, I was told it was missing several necessary addresses and tax items.Literally every step of this process has been an ordeal, and I would not go back or recommend

If you want to be ignored, dial Whitley Ward.Whitley seemed to have almost no empathy for me as a client and dealing with her was easily the worst customer service experience of my entire life. It would take her nearly two weeks to respond by email to basic but very important questions I had. There was also a huge stretch of time when she did not bother to return my phone calls at all. When I did show up to see her at the office during normal business hours, she was never there. I even had to consult with another attorney while she was still under contract with me because I had lost complete faith in her.In an attempt to be balanced, I think Whitley is intelligent, and she was informative when she tried, but I honestly think she is in the wrong field of work.

I have called about 12 times over a course of two months requesting a call back from Mr. Grady. Also Mr. Grady will schedule an appointment for you and then have his secretary call back to cancel it, all of those have been phone appts because I felt like they did not want face to face ones and kept changing it to phone appts (secretaries/paralegals) that has happened several times also. One time it was six months before I actually got to speak with him about a simple child support case. He missed one of my court dates, forgot about another one but made it to it the next day, had my dad come all the way from TN to appear in court when his case wasn't even being heard that day! I paid him a lot of money to handle a simple case that could have been solved in one week but looking at the DSS website and records on back pay, come to find out, but took about a little over one year to accomplish because of he is procrastination, in my opinion. His secretary/paralegal gathy was very hard to deal with, too busy, and rude to me, secretary Vickie is pretty nice but both are Unorganized and usually didn't call back when they said they would, only a few occasions when they did. These are not permanent facts for how he will practice with you but only what I experienced.
