I am very disappointed in this law firm and would honestly not recommend them for any Elder law assistance. We went in needing a trust/will drawn up for my father at his request. He was very sick at the time and unable to travel. My Aunt and I stressed how time sensitive this was. Kessler talked a good game but he and his staff failed to deliver. We paid almost $2,000 dollars and they in my opinion didn't find our case important enough to finish the job they were paid well for. My father passed with nothing done not even a simple will. They did refund $1400 of the money paid for their non services. But of course the check was made out to the estate of my father. Now I am burdened as his only daughter with having to go through probate and pay more money needlessly to the government and who knows what else in order to get his affairs taken care of. This could have been avoided and should have if only they would have done their job and stood by their word. If your not a man of your word your not much of anything.

My daughter had a lapse of judgment and was stopped in Polk County for driving 25 mph over the speed limit. The charge was reckless driving and the consequences could have been licence suspension plus demerit points and a large increase in our insurance premium. We researched attorneys and selected Austin Kessler from King Law Firm in Polk county after a no obligation telephone interview where he explained the possible outcomes. Austin was able to negotiate with the district attorney and have my daughter's 'Reckless Driving Citation' reduced to 'Improper Equipment' which meant that she did not receive a demerit points penalty or insurance premium increase! Austin made this happen a month in advance of her court date! King Law Firm's attornery Austin Kessler exceeded our expectations at every level.

I was pulled over due to speeding more than 25 mph, I spoke to almost 10 lawyers and they all said that I will get points against my driver License as well as my insurance, and also depends on MD laws, they might suspend my license for a while. I was so lucky to be introduced to Austin who works at King law firm. He was so professional and walked me through the steps and things that might happen, not only that, but also he provided me with chances that could go right. At the end, King law firm managed to present my case with the best outcome which was improper equipment. During the initial consultation, just note you will not be talking to an attorney. For $50 you will be told the same thing repeatedly for every question you ask. Which is... they can't answer that without having more information and looking into it further. Not one of my questions were answered. But I did learn if I hired them, they'd find out and let me know. I left out of there just as confused as when I walked in.

Run as far from this Firm as fast as possible. They do not care about you, or your case. Over the course of a couple months, I was asked to pay over $12,000 on a 10 DAY MARRIAGE case (no kids, no marital property ETC). This firm got nothing done but time-wasting tasks that were useless, but billable hours for them. I had to hire another attorney to continue as this firm could obviously not handle the simplest task.
