I truly feel the universe aligned to help me find Lynn Montgomery. After receiving poor legal service from another attorney that left me and my kids in a precarious situation with an abusive ex I reached out to Montgomery Family Law. One of my best friends had worked with Scott before and I felt that his dedication to her case could be helpful on mine. I did my first consultation and that's when I met Lynn. Lynn is a brilliant attorney at Montgomery Family Law and Scott's wife and from the beginning she was very clear on how hard my case would be but that she was committed to seeing it through. There were times when my husband and I were worried we were just burying ourselves in debt with no hope for solution but Lynn was right there with us never wavering. We started with a botched child custody/support case that left a gap for my ex to file just enough paperwork to be a problem for adoption without him doing any more to prove he wanted to be apart of my kids lives. Terminations are incredibly detailed an technical and expensive. And if you have to go down that route then you want Lynn Montgomery and the team at Montgomery Family Law. Today my husband and I received the adoption decrees for our two munchkins and the happiness at finally having our family situation put to rights is immeasurable. I will forever feel indebted to Lynn, she helped my kids and I not only close a dark chapter of our lives but also complete the crowning of the man who took up the role of dad that had been left discarded and never once wavered in fulfilling the responsibilities that came with that title. The sheer joy on his face when he saw the adoption decrees and read that he is officially Dad now to the kids that stole his heart from day one was immeasurable. I had a very long complicated divorce and I am continually working with this office even after divorce and ended up interacting with every single lawyer in this office. Every lawyer in this office holds themselves up for very high ethical standards. I worked primarily with Mr Charles Motgomery and Ms Laura Essesse. They were exceptional in providing legal advice and helped me strategically achieve my goals that I had communicated with them. They are truly willing to help and they are great listeners and remember every detail very carefully in dealing with my case. I have been through mediation for custody and equitable distribution and they advocated for me very strongly in the mediation. I was able to get sole legal custody for my kids. More recently I had to be in the court for a parenting coordinator and they were very well prepared in the court. They are very good in acknowledging emotional stress I was going through and at the same time they were exceptional in setting realistic expectations so that I don't get discouraged by the outcomes. They were very good in educating me about legal issues in divorce. Going through divorce is very tough but I felt strong that this firm would support me always in the best way they can.
