Through the entire process of working with Randy he has been honest, and upfront in regard to price, and expectations for my situation. He was quick to respond to my questions, and was well prepared whenever we entered the court room. He fought for what he thought my family deserved, and listened when I didnt necessarily agree, and offered guidance. Hopefully wont have to, but would definitely hire him again in a heart beat.

Randy and his team do not care about his clients.. I had to 'remind' him of my case the first 3 times I spoke to him. They bill hours without consistent communication. I live in another state and he fully ignored me 95% of the time. I went to my first visit with my son after 6 months of being alienated, and I didn't know the details of access until I landed the day of. None of what he said would happen happened. The second trip I flew out for an extra day to see my boy and they didn't even set up my access.They just 'forgot.' It was blown off like it was nothing by the firm. I spent an extra night in Buffalo just to be denied by my ex because they didn't set it up. To make it worse, they were all 'unavailable' to talk until the next day. The third trip he showed up to court without a settlement agreement submitted to opposing attorneys. I almost fired him on the spot but he offered to do it free that day. I was still billed. The next attorney meeting they had, they did not even talk to me before the meeting. I was not informed of why we didn't reach a custody agreement, I just got an email saying 'we're close.' When I read the counter proposal we were far from close. He blew through the $3500 retainer and added a $5000 bill while accomplishing barley anything. Now I'm stuck with pretrail and trial with no attorney. I don't qualify for assistance and other attorneys are hesitant with no money for a retainer and a bill with this firm. Do not use this firm! They are a high volume, low detail, money driven firm. Avoid at all costs.

Randy Margulis is a very sharp and knowledgeable attorney. After talking with Randy for the first time my intuition told me he was the right attorney for the job and he was. Randy shows great passion and dedication to his work and it projects through his results. Randy is very assertive in court, I felt relieved he was my attorney... I would not want to be up against him. The end result for custody was a success, fathers being granted custody is almost unheard of but Randy did it. Those results do not lie and speak volumes. I hired Randy for services and paid the retainer. We ended up not needing him because the other party and I came to a resolution on our own. He had done no work but charged me an outrageous fee and ended up getting very little retainer back. He is dishonest and money hungry.

Randy and his staff did a great job at working with me to establish what outcome I was looking for in my divorce and spent the time to get every detail correct. In the end I felt his firm did a great job in accomplishing my objectives. Randy was able to get residential custody and the house. The father usually isn't awarded this arrangement but the firm took the time to gather as much information needed to put a solid case together and ultimately get me what I wanted.

Randy Margulis is a smooth talker and very good at billing hours. He will forget facts and you have to remind him every time you meet him. He will not work on any motions and always lets the opposing lawyer do it. He just goes through the conferences and make you feel that you got a good deal. Please do not go by the reviews on avvo website as they are fake. Please read in between the lines of the reviews.

Marriage is suppose to be forever, or so I thought. Randy and his staff made the most painful time in my life manageable. He is very knowledgeable and confident in his job. When things were getting tough for me, that unsolicited call in the evening or weekend to let you know they were there and hadn't forgot what I was going through meant the world to me and let me know they cared. Thank you for everything, and my family thanks you.

Randy was very personal and very effective. He knows the law and all of the ins and outs of the finances better than opposing council and this helped a lot. Divorce is a very difficult thing to experience and he made it easier. I recommend Randy very highly.
