I couldnt believe how quickly I was able to meet with Jay to review my case. I called and was in his office within 45 minutes! He helped me many years ago with another case for my son. He was wonderful then and still remains on top of his game. Karen is the attorney helping me with my case and shes in contact daily and walking me thru the process. I am happy to know that Im being taken care of!

The office manager, Gary, sounds like he's 100 years old. He never remembers why you are calling and their screening process to even speak to an attorney is like trying to penetrate Fort Knox! Their attorney's can't be that good according to other reviews on this site.

The documents my family needs upon my death were prepared last year by Jay Goodman and Associates (Life Leaf Legal Group PC). The entire process took less than one month and was painless. The staff was professional, responsive, and extremely patient in answering my many questions. Last week after talking with a family member, I had further questions on a Friday afternoon. By Monday morning the attorney who prepared my documents called me and again answered my concerns. I highly recommend Jay Goodman and Associates and will use them again should I have the need.

The work they did was utterly incompetent, late, far over budget. Also, Jay Goodman's firm was investigated by the New Mexico State Bar Association and they were issued a reprimand for deceptive/abuse billing.

Our free consultation was scheduled for the following day, and it was an urgent situation. The results and information were very helpful, and gave us a some relief. We would highly recommend this firm of professionals.

Couple of former 'friends' of mine used my name on a commercial lease as a guarantor, without my knowledge. Well we had a free phone consultation with Jay Goodman. He was 1 hour late in calling but how can you complain when it's a free consult. I was assured our case was strong & his right hand man Peter Brusco would handle our case.A few days later we received a call from David Shelle saying he was assigned our case instead of Peter who was tied up on another case. We said okay we could meet with him in their office. Later we were billed a total of $60.00 to schedule this appointment. We met for an hour and got billed for 11/2. We were billed at least 4 times for brief email communications & one of those was to correct misinformation on David's part. These charges were not consistent and over the top from $20.00-$100.00. He produced an opinion letter for $750.00. David billed us for a total of $1400.00 & hadn't even started actual case work. Our retainer was $3500.00 & he wanted us to replenish the $1400.00 to even get started. We do not recommend this law firm unless you have endless funds. It seems they get your retainer, use it up frivilously. Peter took over when we complained about the way our retainer was being billed & he has been dragging his feet at returning our remaining retainer + they are only intending to return ..approx. 250.00 on the bogus billings.

Having had no success finding a law firm with backbone and integrity to pursue a case against the state of New Mexico and everyone associated with the wrongful death of my partner or spouse husband soul mate

I called them about a child support case that is an interstate case. I was very specific that the jurisdiction of the case is in New Mexico but the representative told me that I need to call a Texas lawyer and then promptly hung up on me mid sentence when I was trying to explain to him that it is not a Texas case. I know this for a fact because I have talk to another lawyer about the exact same issue but I was calling Jay Goodman & Associates in order to try to find an attorney with a lower retainer fee. I don't appreciate getting hung up on and I wish that they would have listened to me as a potential client instead of dismissing what I had to say.

I have nothing bad to say but if I would give any advice don't use them for Child Custody Cases. Went to the parenting class and there were 3 other guys that shared the same story. Truth
