We used Joe Coiro for the closing on our house. Since it is a statutory requirement in NJ to use an attorney for closings, our experience with Joe seemed to be typical. We were happy just to have a responsive, personable and experienced attorney since it was our first time buying a home. Then on the day of our closing, we realized how fortunate we were to have Joe and his staff on our side. There was a major miscommunication with the sellers on an issue and wow did Joe display his major attorney skills. He became a super advocate for us and would not relent until we got what we as the buyers were promised. Apparently closings are only usually 2 hours max and ours wound up over 4 hours! The entire time Joe was on our side and made sure his clients got what they bargained for. We were so grateful for his experience and professionalism. We really appreciated that he was calm when he needed to be but totally aggressive when the situation called for it. Also, Debbie, his legal assistant, was amazing the entire way. She was the quiet presence in the office but we would've been totally lost without her. We would highly recommend this law firm.

mr coiro came highly recommended from a real estate agent who helped me greatly.i did not want to lose house,i just wanted to get a second chance and get back on track.i felt after you pay a few thousand dollars the lawyer should help client.this seemed to drag on and last email i felt was why save house when the time that passed was extensive?but i acted as my own lawyer,read alot of laws about this and house mortgage was modified under harp and everything took a bit but went excellent.maybe i was at fault for a few things but im not a lawyer,thats why i paid and hired so my family would be protected.for the money i paid i still do not know what the firm did?lesson learned.be careful.

I used Mr Coiro to close on a house that I sold and also for a house I purchased. It was the worst experience. Very unprofessional. Paper work incorrect. Was never informed about the easement on the property.
