10 YEARS Donn has been by my side in all I have needed him family law wise! And his staff, including Jodi and Alex. This review is way overdue. Donn has never steered me wrong and is about as blunt as it gets. He is honest and upfront. He listens! And he pays close attention to detail. There is almost nothing more unsettling than fighting for your children in front of a family judge that has no idea who you are and you better hope the small time you have in front of this judge that youre amazing attorney can verbalize exactly what your wishes are. It also helps a great deal to have an attorney that is knowledgeable about the judges. He is like a force of nature in the court room and I can tell you this because Ive seen it for myself! Absolute class act, he and his staff. I have never felt more safe with all of my personal information and some of the most important things riding on the line. I would absolutely without a doubt never choose anybody else to represent me and my family. Thank you for all that you have done. I will forever be grateful for all that he has done for my family. I had multiple vehicle violations that needed to be handled. I was referred by a friend and I hired Donn to handle my many outstanding traffic violations. I was going through a tough financial situation, but Donn believed in me and he arranged a payment plan to suit my needs. Communication with his office was always very effective. My questions were immediately answered by emails and I never had to call them to get a response. If anything, they knew when to call me and provided me the necessary information about my case. Donn and his associates are remarkably an outstanding representation of great customer service!!!

Worst experience ever!!!! I hired Donn for my family/divorce case. He absolutely didnt do anything.... He didnt even showed up to my court day. Please dont hire him. Its waste of time and moneyI never done a review, I honestly couldnt look away.

An attorney & paralegal that actually care about their clients!! Donn and Alex are a breath of fresh air during the absolute hardest time of my life. Don was very tough and persistent.. He fought hard for a fathers rights and we were awarded primary custody over the mother who had a strong case... This idiot was assigned to me in Family Court. Since October or before, I have tried to contact him via email or phone. Silence. I can only assume that he is trying to further his career by volunteering his services to the Childrens Attorney Project. He would rather help the clients paying him then help my daughter come home. I have a Chronic Illness and Donn stresses me out even more. He screwed up my paperwork by agreeing to things I had not even read yet. I have repeatedly tried to fire Donn and get him to withdraw as my attorney. I cannot file my own paperwork to help my daughter. I cannot even help my own child get out of a very bad environment. Whatever you do. Please do NOT hire this terrible attorney.

Definitely a professional and trained lawyer. The achievement finally came after 8 years of uncertainty. It has been accentuated on paper the safety of my children. For the last 3 years, their biological father began to sue me. After frustrating experiences with another lawyer, I managed to contact Donn and his excellent paralegal Alex. Donn represented me in my divorce and custody case. The results were better than I expected. I'm now working with Donn to renegotiate our custody agreement as our current arrangement has become too messy for my children during the school week. Donn is a true partner - he listens and understands my concerns, but sets reasonable expectations. I hired Donn to represent me in my custody and relocation case. He was absolutely amazing. My husband was being transferred to a new duty station and I was pregnant with our son but my daughter was from a previous marriage. We were worried that he would have to go alone but Donn fought for us and got us primary custody and we were able to relocate together. He worked with us financially and walked us through every step. His staff is also amazing. They are excellent at getting back to you and I never had to track them down.

I'd like to address another review, quoted here in its entirety for your convenience: 'He's lazy, lies and deceives his clients and is easily distracted in court by a pretty set' Rest assured, Donn has been respectful throughout our every interaction. Whether in the courthouse or his office, he's never behaved inappropriately or given even the slightest impression of being 'distracted.' Not a single lewd comment, no wandering eyes, nothing. It's a cheap accusation which I would take with a grain of salt. Likewise, I was never deceived while working with Donn. In fact, he consistently told me the things I didn't want to hear, keeping me grounded where a less ethical attorney might take advantage. He could have assured me of a rare blowout victory and I'd have believed. He could have quoted me China's GDP and I'd have agreed to pay, so long as it could be done in monthly installments. There was every chance to exploit a desperate, naive single mother, yet he and his team always acted in my family's best interest. Not only is Donn Prokopius professional and personable as one expects from an attorney, but he's also upfront and realistic as one should hope for in their counselor. I'm also grateful for the wonderful legal team. Everyone I've worked with has been friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Calls were promptly returned, papers filed on time, and my (occasionally stupid) questions were always answered. Jodi is just lovely and always helpful face-to-face or by phone, Tom cranks out top-notch paperwork at the speed of light, and I have a special appreciation for Alex and the massive amount of time I witnessed him putting into the case. All things considered, I believe that Donn and his associates achieved the best possible outcome for our custody/visitation case, which had complicated circumstances to say the least. Everyone involved worked their asses off to make the whole situation as painless as possible, however futile those efforts seemed some days, and in the end it's made a difference. I will, without a doubt, be hiring Donn Prokopius for any future Family Court matters.

Donn was not only incredibly professional and affordable, he also was able to obtain every aspect of my custody needs for my son... without even having to attend court. Highly recommend for divorce or family law needs.

He made me feel comfortable with my stand against the other party's petition to be granted general guardianship of my children. The disheartening element, in this particular life event, was that it happened to be my parents who were doing this. The case never went to trial. I was able to prove my worth as a mother and as a parent well before it was necessary to get a trial date. My parents backed out of going forward. All throughout 35 the toughest days of my life that was wrought with disbelief, anguish, stress, the hard feeling of betrayal, to joyous Elementary school events, working full time as an assistant, working full time as a mother of three wonderful children Donn eased my worries, reassured me of what I already knew to be true, and gave me the best advice I could have been given when I needed it most.
