Glacier Law Firm

In my opinion, do not waste your time and money on this firm.I had a great family law attorney through the previous version of this firm (Best & Westover) for over two years. Then the firm became Glacier Law and my attorney left the firm citing differences with the firm's 'new direction'. Unfortunately, I didn't have a big pile of cash lying around with which to retain another attorney on short notice, so I was stuck with what I got. You see, while Best & Westover was a full-service law firm, Glacier focuses primarily on personal injury; i.e., ambulance chasing. It seems they could care less about family law these days, but they'll still take your money.The attorney who took over my case (Kira Evans) raised the hourly rate I paid by around 25%. She billed for work that she did not do. She did not actually write motions; rather, she simply copied and pasted emails and portions of previous motions. She could barely spell, had terrible grammar when she did actually write something herself, and clearly did not proofread her correspondence or motions. She charged me as much in 6 months for her sloppy and careless performance as my previous attorney did for her stellar performance in over two years. She regularly refused to respond to emails and phone messages for over a month at a time. She refused to keep me apprised of her communication on my behalf with the opposing attorney and officers of the court.She failed to offer competent advice when it mattered most.Ultimately, she withdrew from the case citing a collection of fabricated excuses, which she falsely blamed on me. From my perspective, she was indignant, dishonest, incompetent, careless and somewhat illiterate.

Alex and his staff are extremely professional, courteous, efficient, and really go above and beyond the call of duty for their clients. I can't thank them enough for the work they did for me. Exceptional people doing great work.

My family was in a very tragic automobile accident and Alex Evans and his staff were both very compassionate and extremely helpful in dealing with injuries, hospital billing, insurance and the death of two family members. We cannot begin to thank them enough for going above and beyond their call of duty in helping us deal with the emotional pain and the mountain of paperwork involved in our circumstances. I recommend hiring him to anyone trying to navigate the Worker's Comp system alone in order to get a fair settlement or you will only end up with an impairment rating payoff and a good luck with the rest of your life and no way to earn a living or nothing to live on. Without Glacier Law Firm, I am confident we wouldn't have had the outcome that we did.

I was amazed by the level of service that Alex and his staff provide. They consistently went above and beyond the call of duty for me and my family. They genuinely care about their clients. After getting hit by a drunk driver there are so many things to worry about that are more important than getting proper replacement value for your vehicle and dealing with insurance companies. I've helped a person out who was trying to get social security since 2013. He neglected to file the proper paperwork so instead of her getting the proper settlement she received only half because of their error not hers. I'd look elsewhere for a ssi attorney.

Alex Evans is an amazing attorney! He handled my daughter and my accident case about 3 years ago and was very thorough and understanding. He asked my opinion on every issue and consulted with me before he took action. He made me and my daughter feel like he really cared and did not judge because I asked a lot of questions. I have complete trust in Alex, so much so that when my son was in an accident the other day and I was out of town, he is the first person I called to help. He dropped what he was doing and drove to the ER to meet my 18 year old son and helped him get admitted since I was not there. Alex is a great attorney and a great person.

I was injured in an accident at work. I was rear-ended by a noninsured motorist and was refused medical treatment and was referred to Mr. Alex Evans that afternoon. He had me in to see a specialist. I have never had an attorney before and Mr. Evans make it possible for myself to understand what is happening. He is always available to respond and he also has a very competent and very knowledgeable paralegal, Stephanie who can help you out much of the time. If she can take care of the question you have, she will, otherwise it will be passed over to Mr. Evans. The entire staff, to the receptionist, Rabecca, are always kind and it is an all around comfortable environment.
