I should start off by saying this review is long overdue as my experience with Davis | Pingel law firm was far better than I could have expected. I recently hired Attorney Mandy Pingel and staff to represent me in my Divorce case and her dedication to providing excellent customer service and going above and beyond to communicate with me through every step of my case made everything far more manageable. I should also mention that the legal fees were far less than expected and I never felt that I was being taken advantage of financially. I was only charged for the actual time that each service took to complete and small fees were regularly waived. My case was complicated by the fact that I am serving in the Military and stationed out of state in North Carolina resulting in a significant time and distance barrier. While researching Law Firms in Kansas City, MO during late in 2018 Davis | Pingel stood out to me because of the online reviews from Service members that had good experiences working with the Law firm while stationed out of State. I contacted the law firm to set up a free consultation while visiting family in KC over the holidays and met with Attorney Mandy Pingel. She immediately made me feel at ease by answering all my questions and assuring me that she would be able to handle my case given the challenges of cross-state communication. Having never been involved in a legal dispute such as this, I didnt know what to expect and felt overwhelmed, but was relieved to feel that Attorney Pingel had my best interests in mind. Once I enlisted the services of Attorney Pingel she quickly started the process in filing for my divorce and kept me informed each step of the way. What I was most impressed with throughout the process was how seamless communication was. Every time I had an issue or concern Attorney PIngel would address it as soon as possible despite her busy schedule. I could contact her after hours or during weekends and always received a timely response. There were several obstacles that I encountered over the course of the divorce process due to my ex-wifes efforts to delay the court hearings in order to continue receiving military mandated spousal support. However, Attorney Pingel was there every step of the way to provide sound legal advice. The biggest challenge to my case was that I received deployment orders and required a court date prior to my deployment date which was late in 2019. I had a very narrow window in which I could make a court appearance in Missouri due to training and other service-related obligations. Attorney Pingel went out of her way and ensured that I had a court date that I was able to make. Furthermore, she was able to close out the case and finalize my divorce with only one court appearance. I was spared very significant financial burdens and an incredible amount of personal stress due to the efforts of Attorney Pingel. Whether you are living in KC or are a resident serving in the Military out of state I could not give a higher recommendation than I give to Attorney Mandy Pingel. She understands and respects the challenges to all family law matters as well as the unique challenges that service member encounter. Additionally, I need to mention that her support staff, namely Paralegal Tsion Mehari, went above and beyond throughout all phases of my case. Paralegal Mehari worked over her weekend to ensure that court documents were completed for my hearing and answered all questions that I had through the process.

The entire staff was wonderful through our entire process! Attorney Pingle was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain every step of the process. She was very patient with all of our questions and answered them honestly. We found a very high level of perfessionalism and personal attention! I loved that the whole staff knew us and what was happening so that someone was able to answer a question if Attorney Pingle was unavailable.

Both Pat and Mandee are outstanding lawyers and people. Theyve helped me through one of the toughest times in my life and were gracious, caring, tenacious, understanding, and the absolute best a person could ask for. The office of Davis and Pingle utilized a team dynamic approach to my case which meant that anytime I had a questions or concerns, there was ALWAYS someone available with an answer. They also went out of their way to minimize costs. Furthermore, they were more than understanding when it came to my current active duty status in the military and continued to accommodate my needs while I was stationed halfway across the world, 15 hours ahead of Kansas City local time. I was the opposing party to Davis Pingel in an uncontested divorce. Davis Pingel were very professional and helped make the divorce process as easy as possible. They provided updates throughout the process and informed us on what they needed/what needed to be done. I came into Mandees office absolutely hopeless and really not knowing what to do. What can I say about Patrick Davis? NOTHING negative! This gentleman helped me through some of the most trying days of my life, helped me keep my sanity and positive attitude throughout the entire process (which took months) with my legal matters regarding my son. Service is great, always responded timely to my questions...the downside is cost. They are very expensive.

This is a family first firm. They always thought of the children and their clients first. Not the opposing party. When my wife and I were looking for counsel after being to mediation and had seen two other attorneys. Davis & Pingel were the only counselors who would represent us. Everyone else said, we did not have enough for custody. We didn't understand how we did not have enough with the children's Step-father being in Prison for robbing a QT. Domestic violence in the house. The children were also in a bad school district, which didn't have enough resource to help the children with their learning issues. Medical neglect, I will stop there, just wanted everyone why we didn't understand.When we considered them, we asked around about Davis & Pingel. We were told, they were BULLDOGS, would do anything to win. This is what we were looking for, me, being a Father, and not ever having success in the court room against a mother before. We needed someone who would fight for me has a Father, who made us feel like what we were doing for our children really mattered to them. Like they were in this fight with us, cause they were family, and cared about our children and their well fair has much has we did.Well, we got what we were looking for, it took 3.5 years to close the custody case, but the children were living with my wife and I for 2.5 years of the case. We ended with Sole custody of the children legally. Mandee, Pat, & Tsion were/are professionals, made us feel like family from day one. They made sure there was nothing left on the table. They made sure we were prepped with with whatever question might be asked of us in the court room. Tsion made sure to investigate anything we would like her to. If it was out there, she found it, very thorough.I did not know these types of counselors were out there. Always thought they were just out for the money. Well, Davis & Pingel will fight for you and your children. They will stand right beside you, hold your hand, to make sure you are prepared when you walk in the court room. You will be so prepped for court, the other counsel will not have anything to use against you. You will have the answer for any kind of question any opposing counsel would ask, when that arises.The bottom line is; their is no one we would trust with our children's rights and a father rights. Than, DAVIS & PINGEL, They are not a law firm to us. They are family, our children love them and we love them.
