It is truly rare to find a family law attorney of Jims caliber who exudes such a tremendous sense of caring and thought when he is working with a client. I have had the opportunity to work with Jim on divorce cases in my role as a Co-Parenting Counselor and Divorce Coach in Collaborative Divorce cases, and Jim is someone that I frequently refer families to because of his depth of understanding of the Michigan family law system, and his calm, reassuring manner. He is very communicative with his clients and his grasp of the law combined with the attention he provides helps anyone going through the difficult process of divorce feel they truly have someone in their corner. He advocates strongly for his clients when necessary in high conflict situations, yet he also has the ability to collaborate toward reaching a fair and reasonable settlement in a non-confrontational manner for his clients when possible to de-escalate conflict and keep the focus on the family being able to move forward positively post-divorce. I consider Jim a trusted colleague and would highly recommend using him no matter what type of divorce or post-judgment issues you are experiencing.
