Most dishonest and expensive attorney I've dealt with. Told me everything I wanted to hear in consultations, then completely laid down in court. Lied about several aspects of my case he failed to resolve (only to offer to resolve them at $200/hr after he failed to at the initial hearing that was intended to resolve these issues). Worked out a deal with the opposing party's counsel without telling me, I was able to deduce this from piecing together aspects of conversations that were had. Did not review my case (even though I was charged for his time to). When I asked questions about my evidence after he worked out the deal with opposing counsel he immediately downplayed or dismissed all of my evidence. However, I intentionally asked him about facts of my case that weren't true, just to see his response. He didn't correct my mis-statements, he just downplayed my claims. This proved to me he wasn't even familiar with my evidence, he was defaulting to dimiss my evidence as a means to convince me to settle. His office has also kept a $40 flash drive of mine which they were supposed to transfer files off of. When I asked for it to be returned, his secretary informed me that those things just become 'theirs,' but better believe you get an invoice for every postage stamp used. My new attorney has requested my file THREE times, with no response. I went to his office myself to retrieve it, and was told they would not give it to me. I recorded the entire exchange (I already know how he lies) and sure enough, he told my attorney I screamed at his staff and he had to intervene (again, entire conversation is recorded, and I was told he wasn't even at his office...then he claims he had to address the issue personally.) This man is a liar, a thief, and a horrible human being. Avoid at all costs.

Makes deals with the other party's lawyer without asking first. All he did was make me owe him a bunch of money without any good results. Worst Lawyer in Lenawee County! And he's very dishonest if you have him represent you record it since he will tell you untrue things and then say your wrong.
