I went with Joe for my divorce based on his positive reviews and how professional he appeared when I did my consultation. Joe is a nice guy but I would never recommend him for a divorce case. My ex hired a very aggressive lawyer who made up his own facts and Joe was unable to defend against this. At the time of my most need Joe was not there for me. My case should never have even gone to trial when it did given the extreme circumstances I was dealing with regarding the health of my daughter who was hospitalized the whole month prior to the trial. But the trial was forced down my throat since the judge was more concerned about wrapping it up in a year to protect her record. And the judge took all the lies that were fed to her (it was Mabel Johnson by the way) without even doing any due diligence. Now I am forced to appeal the ruling and I am living a nightmare financially as I cannot afford to support myself. This is extremely frustrating given the fact that I am the only one working. My ex was working but is no longer since she has no need with all the money that was awarded to her in the judgement. Again I do not recommend going with Joe for a divorce case. I would never wish what happened to me happens to anyone else.

Found myself in quite a predicament after discontinuing some medication I was taking. Mr. Fletcher worked diligently on my case, with great professionalism, also carrying himself excellently in the courtroom. He took what to me was the worst time in my life, made sure I got through it justly an with little confusion on my end. I wont hesitate to use Mr. Fletcher if needed again in the future. He shows great honesty and integrity. Very easy to get along with and down to facts of your issues at hand.

My husband and I found ourselves in a real life nightmare that unfortunately required us to find a criminal defense attorney. Having never been in trouble and 100% unfamiliar with Michigan and the legal system/process, I researched attorneys and found Mr. Fletcher. First point of contact was with Samantha (his assistant), who was kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. Our situation required me to make the attorney decision alone, Mr. Fletcher listened to me, answered my questions and helped to explain the process. Overall, he was able to help us achieve the best possible outcome with what we were facing/dealing with. He even went above and beyond when we learned of new information that impacted me, which I think speaks to the type of person he is...a good one! Never in a million years would I have thought I would be hiring a criminal defense attorney....both my husband and I would recommend Mr. Fletcher. A few additional notes, he has knowledge of the law, the system, is confident in the court room, exhibits confidence when he speaks and appeared to be well respected by the judge and prosecutor. It was a really tough time, I felt every emotion in the book and he helped to calm our worries (mainly mine) as we moved through the process.Thank you Joe & Samantha!

Sometimes in life you find yourself in a position in which you need legal counsel but also a friendly face and someone who has your best interests in place. Joe and his staff were that for me in a very difficult time! Not only are they completely professional and dedicated but also want you to get the best results possible and are prepared to fight for you. If you or someone you know is in need of top notch legal counsel you've found your team, stop looking! A side note, just to share about Joe's character. Even after my case was complete, Joe unannounced and unsolicited attended both of my review hearings to argue for early release of probation and we were successful in getting that release. He owed me nothing and did it just to help me out and I can't tell you how much that meant to me at the time.

I was given Mr. Fletcher's name by my neighbor when I found myself in need of an attorney after an unexpected custody issue came up. Mr. Fletcher was able to get me into his office the next day and took the time to explain to me what to expect throughout the process before we began, which I really appreciated. I also appreciated that he didn't drag it out for months--from start to finish it took just under a month. On the date of our first hearing in front of the Friend of the Court referee, while awaiting my own case, I was able to witness Mr. Fletcher in at least 3 other domestic/custodial cases and was impressed with how well he represented his clients. As for my own experience with him as my attorney, Mr Fletcher was able to negotiate a deal with my ex-husband that saw my and my children's best interests met before we ever sat in front of the Friend of the Court referee, thus saving us all from the headache and expense of a trial. I highly recommend Mr. Fletcher! And if I ever find myself in need of an attorney in the future, I know who to call.Edited to note: Samantha, his legal secretary, is also a delight to work with. I want to first start this review off by saying that before I mention how absolutely amazing Joe Fletcher is with regards to advising, directing and fighting for you, he is a man of God which is hard to come by in this line of work, so let that put you at ease. He genuinely cares about the outcome for his clients and truly goes for the best possible resolution. Joe listened to us, was patient and understanding when the times became trying waiting out the process. He knew the correct course we needed to take and supported and advised me along the way. Joe Fletcher took my case to a jury trial where I was ultimately proven innocent and the jury agreed finding me innocent of all charges. A trial for anyone can be a stressful time but when you have an attorney that is knowledgable and confident it certainly alleviates some of the burden of 'the process'. I would highly recommend Joe Fletcher as representation to anyone. Samantha his right hand is so compassionate and is on top of it! Such a great experience during a challenging and tough situation.

I was arrested for a charge of DV. It was my first offense ever, and I was innocent, but yet had to fight for my dismissal. I had to choose a lawyer to represent me as I wanted my clean record back. I contacted 3 lawyers to see which one would be best for me. The first lawyer I spoke with wanted me to take a plea bargain with a reduced charge of disturbing the peace, of which I was not guilty of, and is a misdemeanor. The second lawyer wanted to charge me $250 for consultation. Why should I pay to speak to a lawyer that I don't even know I want to represent me? Then I called Fletcher law and was able to speak with Joe. He was kind and polite and listened to my story. I then asked him what his recommendation was for me and he said fight for a dismissal, even if it means going to trial. I was impressed with his willingness to fight for me and keep my spotless record clean. Joe won my case without going to trial. No plea bargain, No community service, No classes. I would recommend him to anyone who wants real justice and does not want to cave in to plea bargains and fines.

I would like to start by saying I have never been involved with the law until about 8 months ago. The sheriff's department gave me a house call, I was doing everything by the book and still they came after me. I had called 6 different lawyers and in the end I went with Joe Fletcher because he was down to earth, compassionate, understanding, confident, and willing to work with me.
