My daughter hired this firm to help her get some wording changed on a Parenting Time agreement.Oh my gosh! I could not begin to tell you the LIES she was told! They charged her $3500 for motions that only got drafted but NEVER FILED!She went BACKWARDS with this Attorney!SAVE YOUR MONEY AND REPRESENT YOURSELF! I know you would be better off without an attorney!I flew 1800 miles to meet these people, and because I was NOT the client, THEY DID NOT EVEN shake my hand, introduce themselves, nothing! Basically acted like I didnt exist! WOW!18-20 months, NOTHING AT ALL GOT ACCOMPLISHED, nothing, except things got taken away. Nothing gained, only a loss of $3500, flushed down the toilet!!

This firm came highly recommend. Once we consulted with them, we were assigned Trevor Sexton and were told we were in good hands etc...It appeared he was very understanding and prepared. However, our first hearing in court was awful. He was late, unprepared and did not say a word to the judge regarding anything with our case. He appeared fearful of the judge and other attorney present. Our case has been unresolved for almost a year. Not only that, there is NO communication from him despite our continued efforts for contact with him. We have received no answers, no direction etc... What should have been a simple case has not dragged on for too long with no support, no answers and no communication.

We have been working with Trevor Sexton for a divorce and it has been a very long drawn out process that has NOT went smoothly. There is no communication, no return phone calls or emails, no notification of upcoming court dates. Due to no notification of court dates from him I had to miss court. He claimed that he filed motions but after looking into things he did NOT file the motions. Going on 5 months after my divorce was final and still working on things that should have been handled 5 months ago!

I finally got my work completed at the end of September for something that I started in May. I was told it was 'a pretty straight forward case' that would be done in a month. I was treated like an after thought the entire time! By my attorney lying about filing motions (i called the court myself to verify if he was doing what he claims he was) to calling last minute regarding my court dates! Then when we were before the referee I asked my attorney to state for the record my reasons for filing the motion, at which time he seemed really annoyed that I asked him to do what I was paying him for!!! I wiped out my savings account to hire him, and in the end I regret it entirely. If you're looking for someone to treat you with respect and in a professional manner this is not the place!!!! When I talked to the office assistant about my concerns, she told me 'Mr. Sexton has very bad time management skills and I'm sorry you fell through the cracks because of this' but nothing was done to make up for it.

Biggest mistake of my life. Heisler lied about what I was being charged, said incredibly offensive and inappropriate things to me, charged for filing motions that he never actually filed (leaving my children and I in danger during my divorce from an abusive ex), and is hated by local judges. Vulnerable women should avoid him at all costs. And speaking of costs, once I fired him for all of the above reasons and hired a new attorney (she was wonderful and handled everything professionally, including filing what he never had, but still charged me for) Heisler decided to nearly double my bill out of spite. I didn't owe what he claimed. He sued me when I stood up for myself (look up court records- he does this to many clients) and he lost. I paid what I knew I owed, not a penny more. Heisler literally invited my abusive ex to the court date where he sued me, and contacted my ex's mistress to increase their harassment of me as well. Heisler made me add him on my Facebook, he messaged me at all hours, and he was generally vile and emotionally abusive.I have had experiences with many attorneys and judges since then and have never had any of these problems with anyone but Heisler. He is not respected and is mocked by professionals. Your case will suffer for his poor reputation. Also worth noting I've never met Trevor Sexton but know 2 people who hired and paid him, only to have him to not show up to their court dates. Avoid the Heisler Group at all costs. Many of these 5 star reviews are either people on his payroll or personal friends. Listen to the bad reviews. We have no reason to lie.
