Absolutely incompetent. As a client I actually had to do the math for him in court on a very, very small settlement that he managed to eek out of my former employer. Didn't even know how to present a motion to the court. My lawsuit was worth potentially millions, I had lawyers begging me to let them represent me and like an idiot I chose Steven Stilman. He has no backbone, lets the defendant push him around, has no working knowledge of the law and acts like a wimp and an incompetent fool in the court room. How Barry Adler hooked up with this incompetent fool is beyond me, I guess he just needs someone to bark at around the office. Do not under any circumstances let this incompetent, immature, cretin represent you. He dragged my case out for years, rarely returned a phone call and acted like a total wimp in front of the defendant's lawyer in court. At one point in court he actually threw up his hands and said 'this is way over my head!' What a fool.
