I am an Idiot

I am an idiot for ever giving one dime to someone who only cared about lining their own pocket and not my case. She failed to show for court dates, failed to file proper paperwork and then billed me for her own errors. The amount of money spent is astonishing I could have represented myself and had the same outcome, no lie! Save your money and time and pick anyone else.

Lorrie is a fantastic lawyer. She knew from the start that my case was a mess, she accepted the challenge. Shes very well respected by her peers. I didnt have a lot of money to start with but she worked with me and fought hard to get attorney fees covered by my ex husband. That resulted in a $20,000 judgement for attorney fees!!! Shes very easy to get ahold of, her secretary Diane is AMAZING, shes upfront & honest, matter of fact type of person, doesnt focus on petty things, and definitely KNOWS THE LAW!!! Lorrie was highly recommended to me & after we spoke I didnt call any other attorneys, I knew she was my girl! We are in the middle of an evidentiary hearing and she always keeps me in the loop on everything. I honestly couldnt be happier. Lorrie has been a blessing to me & my children!!!

I called to talk about changing the custody of my child. Women was very rude and loud on phone and kept repeating her self saying 'you don't know the law' she said you need to schedule an appointment at my office to set up to learn the law and it's going to be 300$ an hour before we even try and change your custody agreement. Is it or is it not her job to know the law? That's why I'm trying to hire someone. If I knew how to do this I wouldn't be calling you I'd be doing it myself. Definitely wouldn't recommend her unless you like to be yelled at and belittled over the phone.

I contacted her for legal advice on my out of state child support case. She was loud and rude from the moment she picked up the phone and was belittling me the entire call. Told me that I could lose custody of my child because I dont know how the system works, which is why I was looking for a lawyer in the first place. She then told me that it would be a 3500 retainer and it was plainly obvious that she was trying to scare me into hiring her. Dont recommend hiring such a rude, manipulative and belligerent lawyer.
