To the person dealing with unique, hard to pick up on details, nuances that maybe only you and your family have been able to see in your specific case. Amy is the person for you.I have worked with her for 9 years in a custody case that is almost famous in our area for the uniqueness / extreme nature. After the court getting it wrong for years, Amy was able to shine light on the REAL issues and was able to ultimately secure a final custody order granting SOLE LEGAL AND SOLE PHYSICAL CUSTODY. Here is what is more unique this case was an emotional abuse case where my son was tortured for years (Much harder to show or prove versus physical abuse) However in this case, the emotional abuse was so bad there eventually were physical symptoms. Second - I am a male in the peoples republic of Maryland. It can be done, but you yourself are going to have to work for it. Amy helped guide me in what was needed on my end and what I needed to do. There were many instances that I did not agree with her advice but following it has yet to turn out negatively.Needless to say, 9 years of my son and myself battling these demons, Amy was there when it counted most and calmed many of the anxieties that come with being in this situation. Her legal aid, Renee, has always been helpful when in need of advice providing clarity and insight to many of the issues that are attached to custody disputes. Both Amy and Renee I fully believe are genuine, good people who will FIGHT the good fight. In a field where honesty, and trustworthiness are hard to come by, look no further. (Be Prepared for honesty this is a good thing). Amy is detailed, able to follow complex situations, and has shown she has a unique ability to find the subtle trends and nuances associated with a complex case and piece them together, even when the pieces stretch over years of disputes. She just as importantly is able to figure out the game play and sleezy tendencies of many of the other opposing attorneys in the area. Knowing your opponent and their tactics is a clear advantage.It is a struggle, physically, mentally and financially Amy has helped on all fronts. I couldnt have asked for more and consider both her and Renee like family. I am very thankful for both of them and cant thank them enough for helping rescue my son and even myself, from a very contentious, horrible situation.

Customer service is friendly . Friendly staff. Paid for a consultation and felt the experience was very rude and am very disappointed in the service that was provided to me. When I expressed how I felt ...I was told its just a matter of opinion Based off of a 12 min phone call i am being judged on my conduct. I am a very kind and respectful person. I still gave 2 stars despite how I felt I was being treated and still gave credit where credit was due. TO THE STAFF. I told her I appreciated her advice but didnt like her tone with me. I never said I disagreed with her at all... its how she came across and her deliverance of what she needed to say. Not every experience is a good one. We all fall short. I hope that from this point on everyone will be treated fairly regardless of situation. Im glad I spoke out on how I felt. Ive also read another review on AVVO.COM about her service. Im sure shes helped many but her attitude isnt always right. No one is perfect. I have every right to speak out on how I was treated without feeling like I would get attacked and judged. I payed for a consultation yes but not for her disrespect and judgment towards me.I felt bullied off of the phone call and very uneasy and uncomfortable.

When I had lost all hope in getting my custody agreement re-evaluated and looked at again; Amy come into play. Everything from child support to getting the schedule I wanted and that best fit my daughter. She was blunt forward on my chances and didn't sugar coat anything. Her knowledge is out of this world. Was always there to calm me down, answer any questions I had. Always responded to my email. Was even able to settle out of court. With out her I would be sitting fighting and probably not able to come to an agreement. If you are looking for an attorney; stop looking and get Amy!!!!!!
