Excellent lawyer. Well worth the money!

Mr. Higdon has helped my sister and I deal with a nearly-impossible attorney and an extremely sad case dealing with our grandmother's estate. He saved us from having to pay tens of thousands to said attorney and he is making sure our grandmother's final wishes are carried out as she would have wanted them handled as good as anyone could in our position.

Hired this Man to handle some legal issues and... HA what an awesome guy he was. Small town attorney with a punch. Great guy and Angie work great and are a great team. THIS GUY CARES, busy caseload he has sure! In these times I can understand why. He really helped me in my legal matters and now I am back home with family, sober, and part of helping others stay that way. And part of the solution. So, THANK YOU TO THIS ATTORNEY, and Angie. To have someone fight for you is something special. I wish more attorneys had his heart, Thank you David SO VERY MUCH!!!

Complete and total waste of time and money. My ex-wife hired Mr. Higdon to do the legal portion of our divorce. Everything was amicably worked out between us so we just needed the paperwork completed. I didn't even hire an attorney. After meeting with him, and providing him with everything he needed, he never provided a suitable settlement agreement for us to sign. He or his office staff repeatedly said it will be done in 3 days, or by Friday, or should be completed tomorrow. This went on for 3 weeks until we went elsewhere and got what we wanted in 3 days. Now 6 months later he has stopped answer calls, emails, and the office is rarely occupied. We have been unable to get our file or the retainer returned which was more than 3 times what it cost us at a much better attorney's office across the street. Consider yourself warned, just go somewhere else.Response to the response below: Mr. Higdon, excuses do not make up for you not doing your job. Keeping money you never earned is unethical. Return the retainer and file, and I will edit this review to reflect that action. Otherwise we may need to file a complaint with the KY Bar Association. We have plenty of documentation to prove what happened.

Mr. Higdon has been my attorney for going on three years and helped me stay in the fight on a divorce that still has me and my ex settling matters in court to this day. My ex has gone through two attorneys and blown tens of thousands on said divorce to try to bury me. There were times I was extremely emotional and lost faith in my attorney but I followed his counsel and he pulled through for me every time and through every storm. It sounds like the people who left poor reviews should have done the same, been patient and followed his counsel. You also have to understand that even though your situation is most dire and important to you these attorneys represent many many people in various counties. It's your responsibility to stay on top of your own case and provide what is needed to win. Not trying to save face but this guy helped me pull through some nearly impossible wins, one of which was against the ADA for Scott Co... And lemme tell you, that lady wanted to drop the hammer on my head for personal reasons.

I believe Mr. Higdon is an astonishing lawyer to say the least. His dedication to assure you receive a peace of mind is unmatchable. He's simply amazing.

I was very pleased with how Attorney David Higdon handled a case for an Immigrant person I took to his office. He was considerate, thorough, and advised us well. I was impressed with how he interacted with problematic persons involved. I would recommend him to others.

I think he uses his less important cases to get in with the prosecution on his more important cases didn't even show up sending someone else to stand in his place saying he was held up be better off got the same deal with a public defender
