I filed a suit against him. When I met with him I gave him a file with The paperwork. I only needed to learn The correct amount of months for The petition. The second time he lost the paperwork. The third time I ask if we could meet at the library because I scanned the paperwork so If he lost it again I could just email him. He failes to bring the paperwork. I had a deadline because it was military and had to be done within a year. I sent over 30 emails with no response. Even after I pointed this out. He claimed it to be spam folder. He still didn't do respond to the e-mails. The KY Bar filed a petition against him. I thought once they found him guilty I would get my money back. BUT no. I would have to spent more money to sue him to get the money back. He took the money and didn't do the motion for the court. I went to another attorney.

Eric is a saint! Unlike the many horrible lawyers I dealt with before him, he actually took personal interest in me and my case and didn't drop me as a client just because my case was a difficult one (due to the other party being ruthless and having deep pockets). Eric only asked for money on an infrequent basis and always charged a very reasonable amount considering all the work he did for me. It's hard to get into contact with him but that's only because he works himself to the point of exhaustion! I only wish more lawyers could be like him

We searched all over for the right attorney one that easily overcome objections and whom was sharp and insightful!Eric knows the law and he's not afraid to use it! The minute we gave him our retainer hegot immediately to work! My daughter suffers from extreme anxiety but he was able to win her confidence with his attentiveness and his strategic thinking. Also I would like to say he's very familiar with many facets of psychology which is helpful for anticipating your antagonist's next movesEric you have our utmost confidenceAnd are highly recommended!

I hired Mr. Grinnell in April 2017. As I was completely new to this family court/law experience, at that time I truly believed I had made an amazing choice when hiring him. He was knowledgeable and supportive. He went to court with me once and has literally done NOTHING since. Not one thing. After a year of being dragged along, I filed a bar complaint, which was successful despite him placing all the blame on me for why he didn't communicate or act on my behalf. He does not communicate. He does not act in the best interest of his clients, not truly. He's scatterbrained and all over the place despite how obvious it is he is well-educated. He has the potential to be a great attorney but lacks the motivation to follow through on anything especially if it will take true effort.Do not hire him! Also, his main office is in Richmond, Kentucky not Florence.

When I called in to speak with someone the person who answered was very rude, and they didnt even give their name. Every time I would speak he would talk over me. He also refused to speak up so that I could actually hear what he was saying.

Paid 2000 to start an 6 months in still dont have my kids back n getting railroaded attorney doesnt show up hes not prepared for court doesnt know anything about my case the two times he did show up now im about to loose my kids to an abusive ex hisband n cps removed my children when they had no right to now im having to look for another attorney smh

DO NOT USE HIM!! He will take your $$ and run!! I paid him $1500 for a custody case with my ex and he no showed to court several times and neither me or my ex's attorney could ever get a hold of him. He is a disgrace
