I had Patti Taylor as a mediator between myself and my ex-wife, whom is the non-custodial parent regarding possible restricted visitation for our daughters. I had several documents as well as counseling records on our daughters, with factual information on reasons why our daughters should not be in their mothers care alone. Patti came into mediation non-neutral. She immediately sided with my ex-wife and was very hostile towards me. She tried to force me into agreements, however I had an attorney who notified me that I didn't have to agree with Patti's recommendations. She referred my ex-wife and our daughters to a local counseling agency. She also tried rushing the process along in regards to having our daughters in their mothers care immediately, she was completely one sided towards the mother. My wife was with me in mediation, and my wife felt that Patti was very hostile towards the both of us and was only recommending what my ex-wife's wishes were. The counselor had never participated in this type of counseling and recommendation before, so he contacted Patti Taylor. She gave her recommendation to him, which ironically was the same recommendation she had originally suggested in mediation. We also caught Patti lying in mediation saying the counseling center was only available until 5pm, which met my ex-wifes schedule better. However, while in her office, I contacted the same counseling center and found out that this was untrue and the counseling center accepted appointments until 9pm. She was suggesting that I pull the children out of school early afternoon and take them to counseling, instead of meeting at the counseling center after school. Again, she was meeting my ex-wifes schedule, instead of taking our daughters best interest into perception.Thankfully, in court the Judge denied the mediator and the counselors recommendation. The Judge suspended my ex-wifes parenting time and restricted her rights, and gave me sole legal and physical custody. His orders, were the complete opposite of what Patti Taylor suggested in mediation and what she suggested to the counselor, when he called her for neutral guidance. The Guardian Ad Litem agreed with my request and concurred with the Judge.I strongly feel that Patti Taylor sided with the mother without having any of the facts and immediately became hostile with me, because she knew that I felt strongly about the situation. She used her legal skills in trying to force me into her suggested agreement. She was a complete joke during mediation and I'm very glad that the Judge and the GAL realized the seriousness of the situation and did what was in the best interest of the children involved. We are now 3 months out from the court date, and the Mother that Patti was completely sided with during mediation.... has yet to contact or inquire about her daughters. I'm very thankful for an honest, respectful Judge and Guardian Ad Litem who takes the time to decide on matters with integrity.

Horrible attorney and even worse person. She was a friend for 10+ years. I confided in her about my life and she was aware of problems me and my husband had been having I hired her to handle my divorce. About 6 months into the process I found out she was having sex with my soon to be ex husband. Not really sure how she can represent me, look me in the eye and pretend like she is helping me while sleeping with the man Im divorcing. When I told her I wanted my money back and I wanted to go elsewhere she refused. So Im out $2500 and good luck trying to sue an attorney. Save yourself some aggravation and find a more honey lawyer I hope everyone learns what an untrustworthy person she is. There is a reason that she has been reprimanded by the attorney discipline board so many times Really really do your research before you hire this one
