I hired this firm to handle my divorce and they screwed up the final paperwork and then when I made them aware that they made a mistake they charged me again to reach out to my ex-wife and fix they're mistake and of coarse since my ex already got what she wanted she refused to ok the fix on the paperwork and then I tried many times to find out from the Sterk office about what we could do to get this fixed they just ignored my messages and did not return my calls and to make it even worse now they are trying to take me to court to get the money that they think I should owe them even though they screwed everything up . I would never recommend this firm to anybody!!

Gwen was amazing!! I felt my current lawyer was just sitting back hoping the judge would recognize my spouse was not being untruthful. As a result, I felt like I was being run over and my side of the story wasn't being heard. I was referred to Gwen by a friend who had faced her as opposing counsel in her own divorce...which says something right there. The moment I hired Gwen, my divorce started turning around. I felt heard. Months later, it was my ex-wife who was changing attorneys. In the end, I was very happy with the results of my divorce...happy enough that I have referred 7 or so of my own friends who all have had somewhat similar experiences.The one thing I would say is she offers a free consultation, so why not take advantage? Everybody I've referred has said the same thing about Gwen after that first meeting...'She gets what I am going through.' :) Thanks Gwen!!

Legal representation is top notch, cost is high and Bills are padded ... misleading because the $5000.00 retainer was described as 'What you don't use we will refund to you.' bill was close to 18,000 without the Guardian En Litem Bill of close to 4/5K ... for an OP defense and divorce case, which was dropped, with maybe 5 total court apperances... A very good lesson to learn is don't let your emotions lead you into divorce or how you go about divorce.There are some wonderful people who work here and have amazing levels of experience the accountant who worked on my financial affidavit was a great person who really cared ... She's not cheap either though... I'm not exactly sure but I really didn't feel like they believed in me or believed me, I know I'm a Man but I love my daughter more than words can express and I told the truth and I just felt my emotions were used against me at times, my life is an extreme financial struggle now, my hearts motivation is waking up to see my daughters face every morning... I will eat chicken nuggets every day as long as she is home now with a momma & a Dada... But this is because the divorce was dropped not because of any lawyer ... Men humble yourself, do it for the sake of your family. Divorce is a horrible path to go down which hurts everyone involved immediately and for the rest of your family's life
