Jim is an amazing attorney. I had been divorced for two years, and my ex husband had not been paying me the amount of child support and alimony that was originally ordered. Jim worked very hard for me, and in less than a couple of months. I had received back pay. I was amazed that he was able to work with both my ex and I in the same room, and we had come to an agreement without screaming at each other. I would highly recommend Jim Chesloe, as he is honest, hard working, and gets the JOB DONE!!

I have used Mr. Chesloe for multiple reasons over the last 3 years. James has served in the cook county courts for 30+ years. Make no mistake he is excellent attorney, also he has a wonderful and knowledgeable that have helped me resolve issues on more than one occasion when James was in available. If you need legal help I suggest you consider this law office. I won my custody battle as a single father with his help.

I hired James to represent us in a chancery case. Little did I know he has been suspended from the bar on a similar case as ours. He and his secretary lied to a judge that our signatures were in documents with the proper attachments. He lied about our signatures being on filing which were not there. We never signed but one document in his presence. He then. Used copy machine to falsely represent my wife and myself. He should be totally disbarred

I would not recommend James Chesloe to anyone. I went to James due to my ex wife asking for an increase in child support. I didn't agree with the amount and seeked representation. During my consultation with Mr. Chesloe he agree the amount was to much and stated he would ensure I didn't pay that amount. In the end I ended up paying the original amount plus retainer fee and other fees.
