I have a been a client of Mitchell & Crunk since July 2019 . I had a wonderful phone consultation with Mr. Mitchell and decided that out of the 4 firms I contacted that they would be the best for the job. WRONG. My simple child support revision case has taken over 10 months and we are at the very beginning stages of the case. My ex husband was not even served initial documents for almost 4 months. I have had to reach out to get updates and my case is not made to feel important at all. I cannot stress how frustrated I have been with their service. My case has been passed to 3 different paralegals and every time I think things will get moving, they end up stalled again and I go months without an update. -Whitney Glenn

This review is a lengthy one that goes in depth as to my personal experience with Mr. Crunk representing the defendant with myself as the plaintiff. I shouldn't even care how he represents his clients, as he represents the opposing side, but i care because people should be aware of my experience, as well. Mr. Crunk is my soon to be ex Husband's attorney. At the jump of the divorce/custody case, I was ready to go for my husband's throat, until we were actually in the same place at the same time and were able to talk things out. Surprisingly simple once we recognized that we did once have enough love for each other to marry and reproduce to begin with. After him and I found we could agree amicably on almost everything, Mr. Crunk ordered a guardian ad litem to be appointed, to which required an additional court appearance. To which neither myself nor my husband showed up to, because we didn't want or need it, as guardian ad litems are only majorly useful when the parents are incapable of agreeing as to what the best interest of the children are.Sure, he's friendly and professional enough, but his communication is severely lacking, to the point that the final hearing is Tomorrow and neither me nor my husband have received the revised order to which he only wanted to add 2 weeks in the summer and every other major holiday to his visitation portion so it would be there in the event that him and i couldnt agree during the holiday season.Communication is what got my husband and myself to the point of civil resolutions. Communication is what made what initially looked to be an incoming messy battle wracked with infedelity and abandonment to compromise and understanding that it's not about us, it's about what's best for our kids.And communication is Mr. Crunk's biggest flaw. Throughout this all, it has been I keeping my husband updated about all of the goings on with this case and it has been I communicating to him changes, etc. And he has complained to me numerous times about how impossible it is for him to contact his attorney regarding anything. He's going to be coming out of all this in a very favorable situation, to which we'll have joint custody rather than me having sole, him having liberal visitation on a schedule but extra at my discretion, and paying less than half what was calculated for child support, but not due to his attorney. Due to my compromising with him and him and i being able to make agreements with one another. We were lucky for one another's amicable attitudes, but many other divorcing couples are not that way and would not benefit at all with an attorney who doesn't communicate and makes decisions even when both parties don't want that decision made.We just want to see what we'll be signing tomorrow.

I called this office and spoke to Doug Mitchell, not knowing it. He was amazing and helpful, but had me speak to Matthew Crunk because the questions I had were under what he does. Matthew Crunk was helped me and blew me away with his kindness and mannerism. Both of them did really. I have spoken with many different attorneys in my lifetime and non of them have ever made me feel like I was talking to a friend. These attorneys did. I got the exact professional help that I needed from this office and will never go anywhere else in my future if I need help again. Their education and experience alone is enough to make me recommend this office to friends and family. However, when you speak to them you feel like an equal. I have never felt that way with an attorney before. If I call I get a call back in a very timely manner, if not immediately. They do not play games with their prices either. I can not tell you how many attorneys have changed prices for this or that. I am in my mid thirties with a college degree. I did not choose to be an attorney, but in my own opinion that does not make me any less important. I can not express how amazed I was by this office. This is THE office to use if you need legal help.

Don't waste your time. The man I met with was VERY rude. I would not pay a penny to have them represent me! Was not rude??? I was done when he asked me if the abuse had been going on that long what was the rush now! That is extremely rude and extremely unprofessional! No I will not remove my review bc I don't want another woman in my position to walk into what I did so blindly! Now have a good day! I have since hired and fully paid for an attorney who not only understood the urgency but also understood why it did take so long to leave!

I wish I could give them less than a one star rating. They mislead you and make false promises to get your money. They will make decisions without your approval to fit their needs and leave you hanging. They gave my husband false information and didn't follow through with the plan that was set in place for his case. They made his simple case into a huge complication. This has been such a disappointment. Now someone else is cleaning up their mess and putting us at ease. At least this has been a learning experience of people taking advantage and only wanting your money.
