I do not recommend this attorney. The attorney I met with was Walter something? He does offer free first time consultations but that lasted no longer than around 3 minutes. He cut me short several times while I was trying to explain the circumstances of the situation. He did tell me that what I was trying to get done (simple child visitation modifiacation) should be easy & fairly fast in my particular case and that I shouldn't worry. But then he asked me how much money I had right then. I answered that I had $500 to get started. He then stood up, opened the door and told me to come back when I have at least $3500 before he would even start to help me. I went in feeling hopeful and fairly confident, but left in shock & tears. I will not be back. I've dealt with 2 other attorneys in my life (once for my divorce & another for a civil matter) and both of those other attorneys were so nice and helpful (not to mention a LOT less expensive). Attorney Walter made me feel belittled and also like he simply did not care at all. All attorneys are not the same. Consumer Beware.

First time I've ever met Walter Moffitt. I went into his Rossville office to consult with him about modifying the visitation arrangements with my child. He was very short with me. He cut me off several times while I was trying to explain the situation to him (I expect that was to cut down on the time of his free consultation- which lasted maybe 3 minutes) He asked me how much money I had on me at the time. I told him $500 to get the process started. He shook his head and stood up and opened the door motioning for me that it was time to go. He told me I would have to bring $3500 with me when I came back for his payment for him to get started. I will not be using this man for my representation. This was my experience with Walter Moffitt at Harriss & Hartman Law Firm. I walked out of his office and burst into tears. I do not recommend him to anyone.

I have used this law firm for years... They truly care about the clients that they serve... Brent James is one of the best Attorneys I've ever seen in my life... The handle bankruptcy, filing for chapter 13 teens and chapter 7,filing for disability once you've been turned down through ssi board and filling personal injuries when hurt on the job things like that so give them a call I've used them for over 25 years.... They got your back when no one else does... Tell chega refered you...

Slow responses. It shouldn't take a year to get a will through probate.

Very unprofessional from the beginning but all the reviews were good so I took a chance, ugh big mistake. I was rushed through then told to pay $ 3,500 for everything, every time I called he was unclear of my husband's case and ramble through occasionally asking for $2,500 more although the 3,500 was paid in full, after he did 1 part of 3 for my husband he disappeared and refused to call back, always on vacation amoung other things now since March my husband has had a warrant and just went to court unrepresented, if you have a case please look for other options I was desperate and ended loosing allot of money .

Excellent law firm to handle any type of legal issue you may encounter. The attorney's are excellent at responding to clients questions or concerns and very easy to deal with. I highly recommend this firm to anyone needing legal representation.

Not even worth one star! I had a meeting with Walter in which he called to start the meeting because he was 45 minutes late. Then he acted as if I was wasting his time kept looking at his phone and not even trying to listen to my case or my issues. After maybe 5 minutes of talking face to face he gets up and tells me come up with 2500$ and call me. Very unprofessional and not a care in the world that these cases actually effect people and children. I will go somewhere else with my 2500$ because I would never want my child's life to be in his hands .
