Honestly, this has been the best experience ever. It was funny how I found Family Matters Law group...I did a general search on Google and read the reviews. I saw a familiar face on a guy I went to school with who won full custody of his daughter after 10+ years. He continued to explain how great this firm was. This law group is patient and kind and they really took care of my needs in every way. I am a young female who did not have any knowledge about law and I needed to be sure that I would have all my needs met to have sole legal and sole physical custody of my baby girl. P.S. 5 stars is an understatement

After so many years, of looking for the correct lawyer, I finally found one that exceeded my expectations. Attorney Aaron is impressive in what she does. Very knowledgeable. I received legal and primary custody of my kids and now we can go on with our lives! As a single mother, looking for the correct lawyer is essential.

Where do I begin. When I came to see Attorney Aaron for a consultation I was completely broken, lost and I didnt have any hope. After our meeting I knew God had lead me to the right law firm and the right attorney. She not only won my case, but EXCEEDED my expectation. Attorney Aaron is great. I had a child custody case going on that was very complex and lasted for a few years. Being a father there was a lot of uphill battles to fight. I had a lawyer working the parts of the case involving my legitimation, then my sons mother ended up passing away and I had to go to court with the grandparents and I ended up having to retain another lawyer. I was not 100% satisfied with how the case was going because I felt like there was more my attorney could be doing and things were not going that well. I ended up without an attorney for a while but needed to get one and was referred to Attorney Aaron. She was very honest and direct with me unlike my former Attorney who really had me believeing everything would be perfect and all in my favor. She let me know that I could not expect everything I wanted to happen but also assured me she would do everything she possibly could for me. She also helped me personally realize some things I needed to change my thinking on just through her caring and being honest. Well when it was time to go to court she was incredibly prepared and made me feel really comfortable about the trial. We ended up being able to settle the case because the other side saw how prepared we were and she did a great job of coming to a fair settlement. She is super honest and well-prepared and knowledgeable in family matters. I wish I had hired her from the beginning because the whole process would have been much smoother, quicker, and better. Don't make the same mistake I did, just call her from the time you need an attorney and I'm positive you will be happy you did.

My experience with divorce may be a little uncommon as I was attempting to divorce a narcissistic socio-path who did not want to divorce, nor did he want to bring ease to the process. Ms. E handled the case with white gloves. After resistance from the defendant as well as his attorney (they neglected to accomplish anything in a timely manner) Ms. E was astute and relentless throughout the trial. She was very thorough in presenting exhibits (of which we had many), detailed as to what my entitlements were, and very absolute about presenting my demands. Needless to say - I walked away with just about everything I wanted, of course there are no 'winners' in divorce, especially when children are involved, but overall she made my life changing experience something that I can look back on and smile about because it flowed so smoothly. I would and have recommended her already to two of my friends. She is a total and complete professional.

Great service straight to the point and no hidden costs

Attorney Essienumoh provided me with excellent representation for my child support re-modification. She is very reliable and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend Attorney E if you want an Attorney who will fight for you. She is a real 'Beast' in the courtroom. She annihilated my ex on the stand so much so that I almost felt sorry for the deadbeat for a minute.... Smh(: Here are a few FACTS from my case: My child support increased by 3 times the amount in the initial court order which includes the payments arrears. My ex is self employed and has a successful business. Of course, he tried to hide his income but Attorney E came to court prepared with the element of surprise. Her proven ability, skills and experience was very instrumental in finding his hidden income. The look on his face was priceless. Did I mention that I was awarded almost 50% of my Attorney fees & his share of marital debt to all be paid in one lump sum. Please note the previous court order for the marital debt to paid was from 2007. Two Attorneys later, he finally has to pay the piper...! If you want an Attorney who is dependable, skilled, experienced, knowledgeable, and prepares every case like it's her last then Attorney Essienumoh is your lawyer. Also, for those of you who are fighting an uphill battle with your ex/ anyone who may be hiding their income due to being self employed, you need a lawyer with investigative instincts/skills. Trust me... I have nothing to gain by writing this review and making this recommendation other than to share my story with someone who may feel helpless like I did before I hired Attorney Essienumoh. The Attorney I hired prior to Attorney E, never notified me nor showed up for court. I was devastated. I lost my case and my ex didn't have to pay child support for over two years. So, I know what it feels like not having faith in attorneys but you can trust Attorney Essienumoh. She will fight hard for you! What are you waiting for? Call her Today!!!!!
