In my opininion and based on my experience after hiring this attorney. He could be a good choice for a simple paper filing divorce that requires little to no effort nor commitment/preparation on the attorneys part.He seems like a very intelligent individual that could be an excellent attorney if he showed more commitment and confidence in the courtroom. I decided to go with him as he was willing to accept a $1,500 retainer and a payment plan thereafter for 3 months for a total of $3,000 for a flat rate contract. However, he withdrew from my case when he possibly realized my case was more complex and complicated than what he could possibly handle. My impression is that he believed my case would settle at mediation. As the case didnt settle, he wanted to charge me an additional $1,000 so that he supposedly could prepare for trial. I referred him to the flat rate contract and he simply didnt show any further interest from that point forward. Every time I attempted have a discussion with him he would ask to be fired. He would not explain legal concepts and points of views. I started loosing faith on him as I witness his demeanor in the courtroom and in front of the opposing attorney. It seemed to me that he was scared or just intimidated by the other attorney and wouldnt stand his ground and claim a position of leverage as I was the plaintiff. I felt as if I was the defendant in the courtroom. My case was filed almost a year ago and come to find out now after talking to other attorneys that there were many things he failed to advise me on and or do, like requesting a discovery for evidence and some other legal procedures that I didnt even know. The button line is that he decided to quit on his own. Nevertheless, we both think we just couldnt work well together, no hard feelings.

I received 2yrs ago that my husband hired a lawyer for uncontested divorce in which means I waived all my rights in this 13yrs relationship. Well that was farthest from the truth because my signature from his lawyer paperwork was forged. I would NEVER give up my rights to fair division of properties. Well I hired Mr. Brian Ramey to represent me and put a stop to this UNDERHANDED attempt my husband tried to do. Brian told me not to worry we're gonna get everything I deserve in this divorce.Long and behold, my husband no longer had a lawyer and he stated at mediation...he loves his wife and don't want a divorce. Mr. Ramey was an outstanding attorney. He was very prompt, and professional. Never got to meet him in person, but he was able to take care of my legal needs from out of state. Some people say you pay for what you get but I believe I got a hell of a deal for the price I paid. Bottom line if you need an affordable attorney who is going to take care of you I recommend Mr. Ramey.

He will email or call you back and so far has been a man of his word. He is even working around having a court date literally a week after he takes the case. This attorney worked hard to get my ex to see things my way. He her attorney but I have to give him a shot out. He helped me out. Now I have a new family and his loser client still gets nothing but crumbs. Those kids ee have will be grown soon and I will see them then. This giy made sure she got nothing more than what she was getting which is really nothing compared to what I really make..lol. This guy disliked her so much he saw my invome and still led her to settle without a dome more. She thought she had a settlement to get old attorney fees. This attorney and my attorney worked with me and I left clean and clear. Didn't have to pay a dime and by the way she never got a settlement in writing.
