Jeffrey Williams is an attorney I would highly recommend. He handled my case with the utmost of integrity and scrutinized every aspect of the case with hard work and diligence. He was always straight forward and able to clarify any concerns we had and explained them in laymens terms so we knew exactly what was going on. This is a very intelligent attorney that is confident but humble and i would trust him with anything. His assistant, Diane, was also a pleasure to work with. She was always available to answer any questions we had and has a calm and caring demeanor that settled us during this trying time. Her attention to detail and her willingness to go the extra mile to get things done in a timely manner has been greatly appreciated. I have to say, I never wanted to have to write this review. Mr. Williams is a very charismatic person and has a very likable quality, however, he is NOT a good attorney. First off, he charges excessively more than most attorneys with far more experience. His m.o. seems to be to get the most money upfront and do the least amount of work for it. I hired him to represent me on a TPO my ex boyfriend filed, very maliciously. I gave him volumes of evidence to support my defense - a defense that very clearly showed an ulterior motive and malice. I suppose I should have pressed harder for us to go over a strategy, however, I am new to this and have never had to hire an attorney before. He all along kept telling me, assuring me that the case would be dismissed and never once had any other plan in place in case it wasn't. We go to court and not only was it not dismissed, a hearing ensued. He did not have one shred of documentation that I provided him with and was unable to cross examine my ex. He kept asking me to 'give him something' that he could ask him. He had nothing. He wreaked of last night's liquor and looked very hung over. He just sat there while I was lambasted by the opposing side's obviously well prepared attorney and did nothing. I was mortified. The judge extended an continuance to Mr. Williams and he refused! I still can not believe it. He took my money that I paid him to defend me and did ABSOLUTELY. NOTHING.
