I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to Dana Moore for all her help in solving a property issue in my divorce. Once she had all the documents from me, Ms Moore went on to handle my case in such an efficient, thorough manner that is not frequently seen today. She took the time to personally call me a couple of times to keep me updated. She discussed with me different options and went forward with the one I felt would work best for me. My case was solved quickly and professionally.Ms Moore is very approachable, friendly and honest. She takes time to listen and offers options with sound judgement. Her paralegal was also helpful. When I tried to reach Ms Moore by phone, her paralegal suggested emailing her. Ms Moore always responded quickly to my emails.Having had a number of lawyers, I would say that Dana Moore is at the top of the list. I would highly recommend The Law Office of Dana Y. Let me start by saying in my professional opinion and the only reason I am leaving a Star on this review is due to negative reviews not being an option! I will then continue by saying I represented myself for over a year and a half Pro Se (by myself) only to hire this incompetent, unscrupulous, and wicked law practice who represented me for 4 months as of 06/07/2016. I agreed to pay the sum of $3,000.00 to be paid via installment to whit I have wasted $950.00. I stopped paying after I left the said Attorney Dana Y. Moore many professional voicemails questioning competency and seeking a call back; Never received one. After the first and only appearance at my 2nd Mediation. I still awaited response before paying again (never happened until the Motion to withdraw via mail). I also did not want to approach this unprofessionally at the courthouse as I was highly enraged and rightfully so considering the following! I quote the attorney during mediation 'did you give me the copies of your Motion to Modify Final Judgement', 'never mind I see them here', 'can you briefly tell me some important facts of your case'? Being dumb founded, but not distracted at the task at hand I ignore it, and proceed through the pointless mediation as predicted. I am not a rocket scientist, but am an Associate of Science in Criminal Investigations, and can see blatantly when preparation is not practiced. Some attorneys have tangible skills, and apparently this must be an intangible skill they did not teach at this firm's law school! I have asked for and am currently awaiting the Florida Bar to send my forms to file an Unethical Practice Claim against Dana Y. Moore's practice, and should get it placed against them without question. I filed over 70 plus pages, including but not limited to Motion to Modify Final Judgement, Financial Affidavit, Uccjea, and many other required responses as the Respondent (to many to list). I paid all postage, and mailed/filed almost all required documents to every required party including furnishing them to Mrs. Moore! They filed a Motion to Join, and now a Motion to withdraw, and new Nil about my case at the mediation. I needed a lawyer this day not a law student; Which in my professional opinion is exactly what I had. How can they represent me and my children fairly not knowing anything about the Respondent's outstanding and exemplary history as a Daddy. I have legal custody of all of my children as decided from the Divorce Final Judgement (2012), and 4 + year present relationship with my newest precious edition! The facts in my motions clearly show evidence of the Respondent (me) who has/will always put my children's 'safety' and 'best interests first'! Now no one will return my phone calls, and obviously no one is willing to return majority of; If not all of my limited Social Security income monies. Now I am back at square one, and have to hire a new lawyer and pray to God they will represent me and my children fairly, and uphold the law that they swore to protect under oath of which I quote the following I will never reject, from any consideration personal to myself, the cause of the defenseless or oppressed, or delay anyones cause for lucre or malice. So help me God'. 'I will maintain the confidence and preserve inviolate the secrets of my clients, and will accept no compensation in connection with their business except from them or with their knowledge and approval'; I am no longer confident in their competence, and feel their is a personal evil playing a role here. Now I have to start over on payments if in fact someone is willing to accept them considering the time sensitivity that is now crucial in the continued struggle to be a genuine loving Father! Potential Client beware this is not libel as I know what I published is true; I have a duty to provide information to protect you, and I am expressing my opinion. God as my witness please here my cries for my children! O:.(
