Clearly we are in a time of uncertainty and disarray with COVID-19, but during this time, the courts were shut down for months, and sadly I needed to retain a lawyer about one month prior to COVID-19. I retained Virga lawfirm to represent me in a child custody case and then we almost immediately went to lockdown/quarantine. During this time, Virga was paid about 3 to 4 thousand dollars to do nothing. When the quarantine was lifted and the courts opened back up I received a letter for withdraw becauze the point of contact I had no longer worked there and I was inquiring about making payments through the quarantine because they had no one at their office and no way to effectively communicate. I would not recommend this law firm aling the side of many others who do not view clients as anything more than a dollar sign and paycheck.

Communication is top notch, their level of care to the attention to detail is top notch, and they are great negotiators as well. The Virga Law Firm was an unexpected need that turned out not to be a struggle or as much of a hassle as I originally imagined hiring a law firm would be. I was given a high level of customer service, and I repeatedly felt as though my satisfaction was the most important. Other commenters have mentioned an issue with pricing, but the pricing for my divorce was exceptionally reasonable, and they even helped me one time when a payment was going to be late. I have nothing but good things to say about how me and my case were handled by this firm, going above and beyond to help me.

Amazing quick turnaround on my contested divorce. The child support part was difficult but wasn't drawn out like I expected. Mr Melendez is very intelligent and can tell you whatever you want to know. Phone support is excellent at this office, I have not had to ever call back on a question. Amazing attorneys. Completely worth the trip to this law firm. I had not seen the ads before I saw one, but it looked from the ad I saw that they worked with you on payments- something I Really needed. I called, and within minutes had an appointment to see a lawyer at 3 PM the next day. I went to the meeting, and Mr. Melendez sat down, reviewed my case, then explained my situation to me and how they could help. It was very easy to understand what they were telling me, and the depth of knowledge that Mr. Melendez was giving to me in layman's terms was amazing- I could understand the man.The ability to use legal jargon to confuse people is a tactic we've seen on tv before. There was none of that here. This firm is excellent at what they do, effective, and transparent. I really must advise you to give them a call. They will take care of you.

Uncontested adult adoption by step parent was going to cost us up to $9000! Seriously?! We were unable to get consultation without first paying $50 for literally 10 min. Needless to say well be filling out and filing our paperwork on our own.

We had a wonderful experience with Chris Melendez and the Virga Law Firm. We went through an adoption case and Chris made it effortless for us. Seriously, we hardly had to do anything and he didn't make the personal questions feel intrusive. For the experience we had you'd think we had to take out a second mortgage to pay their legal fees but it wasn't bad at all, we found it very affordable. We have been elsewhere in the past but never again! If we knew it was this simple we would've pulled the trigger on this case years ago. Thank you Virga Law and Chris Melendez for everything!

What an excellent law firm if you need anything involving paternity! I managed to get custody over my child through these guys... They took the opposition to town! They were there when I needed them, and treated me with respect the whole time. Any issues I ever had with paperwork or court times, they took care of it. Any question I had, they were promptly answered. If I could give more stars, I would. This experience has left me happy with my money's worth. The Virga Law Firm is a quality law office, with what exactly they say in the ads- compassionate and knowledgeable representation. When I saw their ad, I called, and all my divorce worries are okay now that I put my case in their hands. I needed a lawyer on my side because I had no idea how to even file the paperwork and how to represent myself in the divorce. It was a breeze hiring the Virga Law Firm. I felt like I had nobody to turn to when I first tried to file my own divorce paperwork. Upon arriving at the courthouse, I was directed here... directed there... sent all over to gather papers, talk to clerks, etc and I just got frustrated. I searched on Facebook, found The Virga Law Firm, and decided to call. I didn't even need to call other attorneys! Mr. Melendez is nice, professional and boy, do they get the paperwork done over there quick! Phew! The first week I got so much paperwork filled out, and my discovery meeting was a few hours, but after that it was just meeting and such at the law office and courthouse and mostly effortless. I think they got so much done in a day for my case sometimes that they must have had the whole team working for me! Highly recommend this law firm- they answer the phones so politely too!

Not really sure who the guy with the review for me is or what his issue was, but I had a great experience with Chris here in Pensacola! My initial trip to their office was filled with the normal feeling of trepidation EVERYONE has when going to a lawyer's office! I was filled to the brim with questions. Every time I would call, my questions were answered or a time frame was given for them to be answered. When it got to hearings and mediation, the attorney was on time and he was very skilled at dealing with everyone in the room, including my ex!! Would recommend if you're looking for well-versed, well-connected attorneys who work for you, you should give these guys a call!!!!

When I called, several different times, frantic about what I didn't know... they were patient, answered all my questions and were never like 'uhhh... Idk?'
