In the fall of 2014, I was looking for a lawyer to help me in a discrimination case that I had filed. At the time, it had already passed through the EEOC, and I needed a lawyer from that point. I came across Mckenzie law firm on google, and gave them a call. From the first time I met with Therese, she made me feel comfortable and confident that we would win my case. She has helped every step along the way since then, until just last month when we got a judgement in my favor in federal court. She truly has gone above and beyond for me. While preparing my suit, I then needed help with my disability suit so they also helped me by referring another attorney who could share their records. If you have never been in a bad legal situation and need help and guidance, DO NOT CALL THIS OFFICE. The attorney himself might be a swell guy, but the receptionist who answered the phone was very rude. Like I was supposed to know that this office doesn't cost per hour, it costs by contract, or how that firm doesn't even cover the type of case I have. I told her I got the number from the Lawyer Referral Service, that they might want to know that program was referring them to employment law cases. She said 'Um, okay...?' Wow lady, I'm sitting here saying 'yes ma'am' and 'no ma'am', please, and thank you's and you can't even just be kind?
