Amazing negotiator I hired Grant to help me with my divorce. His staff is a friendly & efficient team. I was very worried about the division of assets since my ex husband was claiming to be disabled. Grant made costly mistakes at a time I needed and trusted him. Five years after my divorce, I am STILL dealing with legal and financial issues due to his errors. Every lawyer who reviews my situation comments on Grants ineptitude and says he screwed up. Grant ASSURED me that alimony would end if my ex remarried. Grant made a basic legal mistake in the Final Agreement wording and now I will pay alimony for life while my remarried ex lives in an East Boca waterfront mansionGrant forgot to include a previous Agreement in the Final Agreement, costing me $10,000At depositions, the opposing lawyer showed up with 6 hours of written questions; Grant did not have a single question preparedGrant did not know what the law permits for a military QDRO and tried to convince me to agree to waive my rights and much of my military pensionGrant dishonestly charged me $600 to drive to court and then conducted unrelated business with other clients while on the tripI asked to see the paperwork prior to the Final Judgment. Grant refused, then reluctantly agreed. I found errors. Grant insisted they were no big deal. I asked the judge and she said they were big deals and needed corrected or they would cause later problems Grant was INCOMPETENT in everything he didGrant was repeatedly manipulated, controlled, and outsmarted by the opposing lawyerResponse times were excessiveGrant was weak, ill-prepared, and forgetful. Because of Grant, my divorce will never end. I will be haunted by Grants miscues for the rest of my life.
