Matthew Z. Martell is one of the most respectful, efficient, resourceful and most importantly, kind person with whom I have ever worked. He represented me, at every turn, in the most professional and upright manner over four months. Everybody should have such a hard-working, principled, knowledgeable, fair and considerate attorney. I could not be more grateful that I found him at a time when I did not know to whom or where to turn. Aside from savvy representation, because he knows his stuff really well, Matt gave me peace of mind throughout the entire purpose. He is so down-to-earth, even though his legalese is superior. He always took time to explain things thoroughly to me so I would understand. He is just a really good and smart guy! Fair and principled! Oh! and Karen, his paralegal is so helpful, friendly and professional. Not once, did I ever have to wait for either one of their correspondence or calls back. I can not emphasize more highly, not only what an exceptional Attorney Mr. Martell is, but underscore his kind, patient and generous spirit. Attorney's are often stereotyped. I don't know about that, only that if there is a negative stereotype of his profession, he has debunked it on every single level. In the world of psychotherapy, where I practice, I am highly aware of what brings people and how anxious or fearful they might be. Matt exemplifies this same sensitivity in assuaging clients fears, while providing exception legal advice. He is the kind of attormey that you hope to find, rare as that is. I got served with divorce papers unexpectedly right before the holidays. Attorney Matthew Martell took my case on Dec. 20th and got my answer done and filed by the 30th. He also, filed a counter petition for me which I never even thought of or knew I could do. I was very impressed with his knowledge and thoughtful planning. He was also extremely organized and looked sharp at all times. He explained all of the legal jargon to me and never spoke down to me because I didn't understand all of the paperwork that was being filed in my case.
