I could probably write a book about the kind of attorney Pam Helton is along with her entire staff. However, I'll try to keep it short. In my professional world I keep 6 different law firms on retainer and each of them I've hand selected over the 18 years. I've always said, anyone can write motions and briefs, but the true lawyer comes out when they're in the court room. Pam Helton superseded my expectations from start to finish and inside and outside the courtroom. At times, she likely wanted to ring my neck and at times, I wanted to ring hers. All in all if I could give her a 100 STAR review, I would. You pay for what you get and at times you have to be willing to go the distance. She is in my top 3 of my all time favorites. I have to say that, because my corporate attorney has been with me for 18 years and she'd cry if I put anyone above her. :>)) Lastly, her staff is on fire! They get things done efficiently and on time. They follow up and stay on the ball. If you want an extremely professional law firm to represent you, then I recommend you choose Pam Helton. I recently hired Pamela Helton to represent me in a civil case. I felt confident after meeting with her in her office. She was very understanding and straight to the point. I was REALLY impressed when we went to mediation. Pamela is quick on her feet and brilliant under pressure. I was so nervous about the situation, but not for long. She got me a great settlement and now I feel like I can move forward with my life and put this whole situation behind me. I truly hope that I don't need any more legal help in the future, but if I do- I'll go back to Pamela.

If you want someone to truly represent you well do not use this woman!! I used her for a custody matter and did nothing for me. The only thing she cares about is the payment. When you thought you are done with it she will find a way to charge you some more. I read all the 5 stars rivews. All but one are wills related. Maybe she is good at that but I don't believe she can help with anything else. STRONGLY suggest not using her!!!

Pamela helped me with an adoption. She was wonderful and I highly recommend her as an attorney. She met with the birthmother and was very understanding of the difficult circumstances involved. I am so grateful for everything Pamela did and the staff. Unfortunately, the adoption didn't work out, but I am confident that the birthmother is doing well and was helped greatly by Pam. She really has a heart for family law. Her fees for an adoption were very good too. Other adoption attorneys quoted much higher prices. If I am lucky enough to adopt again in the future, I'll go back to the Law Office of Pamela J Helton.

Did nothing for me in my divorce. The second you hand her your money, your past on to a Jr associate who knows nothing. They do what's best for thier money and not your case.

Where do I begin, my son has been dealing with Pam and her staff for 8 years, they have been nothing but professional, she is a straight shooter, she will not tell you what you want to hear , she will tell you what the law is, I have the upmost respect for her and her staff, my son has been back and forth with his baby mama for 8 years and if it was not for Pamela Helton my son would have never be able to see his son. My son and I both believe she is looking out for his interest, we have had a great experience with her, she might be expensive but she has no problem fighting for what is right and legal. The best Attorney I know. Pam stuck by my side from beginning to ending while filing for my divorce. Divorce is not pretty and it can be very hurtful. Pam was very kind, patient, concerned and caring. I appreciate all that she did for me. I would recommend Pam to anyone looking for an excellent attorney.

Pamela Helton is the classic definition of a 'dirty lawyer'. She will do anything she can to get more and more money including damaging children. She will purposefully extend cases as long as she possibly can to milk her clients for money with no regard for the wellbeing of the children involved. If you want a lawyer with no scruples and little interest in anything but her wallet then this is the attorney for you. I only hope that your children are not too badly damaged in the interim and forgive you in the future. She has blindsided more than one mom most of whom realize to late what shes really all about. Even other attorneys are shocked lack of common human decency.

I have come to know Pam Helton and her family due to how active they are in the Clermont community. They are the first ones to volunteer to fill a need or help in any way they can. I have a baby under one and decided I needed to get a will, guardianship, and health surrogate. They were very helpful. I started and stopped the paperwork several times because I had never thought about burial, who would get my son, or what type of life saving procedures I would want if I was near death. They went beyond the paperwork to explain what things meant and gave me time to think and research what I truly wanted for myself and my son. I never want to have to use my will, guardianship, or health surrogate but I know I am prepared to best help my family if something does happen. The peace of mind alone is worth so much more to me than they will ever know. Attorney Helton and her office stepped in and handled my divorce. They helped me understand what my options were and we got a great settlement. They also were very helpful and honest with my attorneys fees. I would recommend them for any family issues!

The Law office of Pamela J. Helton prepared Will packets for my husband and I. They were very thorough in the questions they asked in order to make sure our wishes were stated correctly through out the Will. They took the time to explain anything we did not understand. They also gave us advice on how to have our accounts set up appropriately, how to store our Wills safely and how to file our Wills when necessary. Wills are not a pleasant thing to think about, but they made the process simple and now we have peace of mind.

I wouldn't even give her ONE STAR! Unfortunately, this won't post unless I do! This woman knew before she even took my money ($150 and pushed me out the door in less than 10 minutes) that she wasn't going to take my case. Wouldn't offer my money back or a FAIR charge for the less than 10 minutes she spent insulting and degrading me as a human being. Charged me BEFORE I walked into her office. She literally in less than 10 minutes told me I didn't love my grandson, that she could take my money ($5000 to start) and stand up for me, but didn't think she could win or help! Then told me my grands could end up being adopted and I would never see them again!! Yeah, I don't think so, even DCF said that wasn't true. So literally had me in tears, and insulted me to boot, for my $150!! She knew NOTHING about why I was there, and had a copy of my son's arrest record, not one thing about the dependency case, which is why I was there. I walked out feeling like I had been screwed and didn't even get to enjoy it. She took my $150, and ran, didn't even have the decency or courtesy to walk me to the front door. She walked right across the hall, after escorting me out of her office, and went into the office of another attorney. WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS OFFICE FOR ANY REASON. RUDE OBNOXIOUS AND SO IS HER SON, WHO HUNG UP ON ME!!

Attorney Helton and her assistants helped to give me my freedom back from a violent marriage. They took the stress off of me and guided me through the divorce process. The experience shows in court. She was always two steps ahead of opposing counsel! She handled my case so well that she also represented me in a real estate matter. They handled it seamlessly, to a favorable outcome. I would definitely not recommend using Pam Helton or Dave Helton. They both are very dishonest.Pam Helton should be reported to the Florida Bar for her misconduct. She and Dave have absolutely no respect for anyone.

We contacted the Law Office of Pamela Helton with a problem that needed to be handled very quickly. We knew that things could go either way for us but we were given good advice for a reasonable fee. We eventually got what we asked for and walked away happy. Very sound representation from the entire team.

My boyfriend used this law office to help him with his child support case. They did absolutely nothing to help his case, told him there was one flat fee. That was a lie, he paid them over $3000 and on top of that charged him for every email and letter they sent out to him. We went to court back in March and are still receiving bills, including a letter they mailed out notifying his case was closed. I have recently finished a case with the office of Pamela J. Helton. Not the best experience. Although they act and talk semi-intelligent I have my doubts. I started my case with Ms. Helton; promptly I was receiving calls from different attorneys at the office (that is understandable). They charge you a non-refundable fee, also very understandable. Here is my problem with them, they charge you for every phone call, personal conversation, e-mail, visit, that you make to their office but, not complaint here yet, when I have a problem is when you have to repeat yourself to all 3 of the attorneys at the office. They dont seem to communicate among each other. One of them Ms. JDS seems to have issues doing simple math, which is scary. On one instant while I was doing numbers in my head and came up with the right amount, she with a calculator couldnt get it right. Mr. Hall, another attorney at the office that I have the pleasure to meet, didnt know the difference between an asset and a liability that was REALLY scary. To finish it up Ms. PJH, the lead attorney seems to have problems listening to want you need to do with in the law. I cant recommend this office.
