Kaitlyn was prompt, courteous, and professional in handling my child custody and parenting legal issues. She answered all of my questions, and when it came time for our hearing, she was tenacious in representing me while still being compassionate with respect to the other party. I called Dadvocates to find legal advice about a particular sensitive situation I was dealing with. I don't typically like calling law firms because I find they provide minimal advice while running up my tab. But in this case, Jason and Kaitlyn really helped me out. They gave me a free consult and I got all the answers I needed at the time. These two attorneys are very professional and I really believe they have their clients' best interest in mind.

This firm is totally amazing, very professional and hands down the best I've witness, I now have JOINT LEGAL CUSTODY, visitation in Colorado and Mississippi, they fought for me as if my child was their child. The DADVOCATES really knows about fathers rights without them my daughter wouldn't get to know my family for another 2 to 3 years. I'm telling you if you hire the DADVOCATES to fight for you, you won't go wrong, and have the best in the field of dads rights handling your case, I couldn't thank them enough for what they've done for me and my daughter.

I can not believe how I have been treated!!! After being told that I would have to wait to have my attorney withdrawal from my case to get my retainer back its now been 6-8 weeks and I have yet gotten my money back. They claim to have sent me not one but two checks!!!! When I asked for proof they couldnt provide it to me. I then asked for them to transfer me to the attorney that sent the check out and they were conveniently on maternity leave. Then how in the heck did she send my check out!!!!!!! The front desk person that I was dealing with HUNG UP on me!!! I have filed a complaint with the Colorado Attorney Console. This is unacceptable and I will not stand for them to hold my money hostage. They need a new front office assistant as well. If youre going to lie at least make sure that your story lines up!!

I'm sure they are a wonderful service but I reached out to them weeks before the first stay at home order was issued. My call was never answered. The delay in action has only emboldened my children's mother and allowed her the time necessary to manipulate my 10 year old.I did as you asked months ago now. I went to your website filled out the info there and the following Monday I called your listed number. I answer every call, my career revolves around not missing a call.

Dont waste your time looking for anyone else. Kaitlyn is a powerhouse. She is one of those few people that when you leave her you are inspired to do great things yourself. Both because she is so impressive in what she does, but also has a way of supporting and uplifting you without a thought. It seems like they would do a good job. They won't help you unless you have five grand upfront. So they weren't very good advocate for this Dad.

The 5 star reviews on here are fake! It seems Samera paid for a company to post 5 star reviews for her firm. Click on the names of the 5 star reviews. The fake reviewers only have 1 review and in some cases 2. The majority of these reviewers that have 2 reviews, have a second review from out of state. Notice other more senior attorneys you find, have 1/10th the number of reviews and have been practicing for 5x as long. Dadvocates is a couple year old firm Samera started. This is all indication of how fake these reviews are. Companies like Sameras pay marketing companies to up their ratings on Google Reviews, just like she pays for her radio ads. Notice that this firm is not registered on Better Business Bureau under Dadvocates. Notice Samera nor any attorneys at her firm, are reviewed or present on avvo. This is all by design to hide Samera and her firms pitiful, awful reputation with clients, the courts, and other attorneys. Ask around about her, to any respected attorney or judge in the Denver area, she is notorious for over charging clients and has an awful reputation with judges and other attorneys. I hired Samera and it was the worst mistake I made in my entire divorce. A very very costly mistake. Her firms billing practices are beyond unethical. Expect to pay $2,000+ every week and be double charged by a para legal and an attorney for doing the exact same task. You will be charged for the attorney to correspond with the paralegal. You will pay for hours worth of labor to both the attorney and the paralegal for tasks that other attorneys accomplish in literally 1/4th the amount of time, on top of paying 4x as many hours at $150 an hour for a paralegal and $350 an hour for an attorney. When I finally terminated Samera and this firm, I found out she is notorious with the courts and other attorneys for over billing clients and has a very poor rapport with everybody in the industry. Shell seem great in your initial supposed free consultation. But dont be fooled by that, youll see a charge for that consultation on your first invoice for $350 if you retain her. If you write her a two sentence email, she will add another attorney and the paralegal and you will be charged $125 for sending one email! If you email just one, they will add each other, and they will all bill you 0.2 hours. Dont respond to the email or youll be charged another $125. The minimum she charges is 0.2 hours. Theres no consolidation or grouping of tasks.If they read an email, draft a document, then submit, expect to be billed 0.2 hours by the para legal for your email, 0.2 hours for the attorney for your email, then 2 hours to work on a one page document by the paralegal, 1 hour by the attorney to draft and review the same document, then another 0.2 hours for the paralegal to click submit and e-file your document, then 0.2 hours for the paralegal to type you an email that your document has been submitted, and finally 0.2 hours for the attorney to read the paralegals email that your document has been submitted. If they have a task that should take 1 hour total, they will steal your retainer in the above manner. There are good attorneys out there. I advise you to speak with the the Colorado Bar Association. I know how hard it is when you dont know how to locate a good attorney and are about to settle on Samera because she has a cool firm name and impressive looking website and bio. She tries to cater to a niche, being fathers, but shes actually preying on them. Youre willing to do whatever it takes to keep your kids and you think youre hiring the best, but the opposite couldnt be more true. Samera will respond to this review that either a) She doesnt know me or b) Will attempt to hide behind Attorney/Client privilege and state this isnt an accurate representation of the situation. This is her game. The bad reviews on here a REAL. The 5 star reviews on here are FAKE. I just wished I had seen a review like this before I burned tens of thousands of dollars. Im trying to save other people from her scam.

From start to finish this was an amazing experience. Kaitlyn was hired to modify Parenting Time and Child Support from a Alabama divorce decree to having the jurisdiction moved to Colorado. She made me feel very comfortable throughout the entire process. My case was a difficult case over state lines. She is very quick to respond to all my inquiries and concerns. Through the thorough preparation for trial, she helped me feel at ease before walking into the court room. Kaitlyn was the epitome of professionalism throughout the entire process. Kaitlyn was successful in having the jurisdiction moved to Colorado, and coming out of court, we received the most the judge would give. They charge way too much up front ($5,000), when men are already struggling financially due to child support payments and not even getting to see their kids. My husband hasn't seen his daughters since they were 8 and 9 years old and their 24 and 25 now and he's still paying! I'm disabled so its a major strain on our marriage and living situation.

Samera & her team are the best! They are very professional, yet understanding, and are diligent to cover their bases and make sure you have the best possible representation. I cant say enough good things about them.

Divorce is a hardest thing I ever had experience in my life with especially when a little child is involved. Family law in US wasn't written for man, l've been fighting for 50% custody for year and half now witch was taking away from me by Denver Court without my knowlage while I was deployed believe or not but. Samera Habib and her team are my 4th lowers. I had 3 lowers before I hired S/H Low Firm. All my previos lawers did charged me thousands of dollars and never did anything for me. Finally with Ms. Habib's team I start moving forward. At this point I have 1.5 experience dealing with court system and lawyers. Court system constracted the way if you are a man, good or bad you are pretty much screwed. Lawyers, Hmmm, pretty simple they will use your tragedy to fill their pockets. There are not to many honest loyal lawyers out-there. Ms. Habib, Keithlyn Wright and Phalon Nolan will do what they can to help you get your child back in your life or whatever you are fighting for.

Not willing to help unless I can come to the office location, when I explain due to my current situation I'm not able to come into the office. I plan to file a complaint with the Colorado State Board.

DO NOT use this firm. After the initial conversation, they said my divorce was as easy as it gets and they couldn't see me spending more than the $5K retainer. That was the longest conversation I had with anyone at the firm. In 30 days they had maxed out my CCs & proceeded to tell me that I had also used up the retainer. They charged a rate of $350 an hour and would send emails w/ no attachments so the chain was going back and forth while they charged hourly for their incompetence (I assume on purpose). They did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to help in anyway and we parted ways 30 days after I hired them. I was left with such a bad taste that I chose not to hire another lawyer and took the rest of the divorce on myself. I got it negotiated, signed, finalized & completed myself in less than 2 weeks w/ a total paid of $250. I wish I would have preferred to just give my Son/Ex the $10K rather than it going to these crooks. DO NOT USE THESE GUYS; You will be watching your bank account empty with your arms in the air wondering where/what/when/why/how too...
