We utilized Jennifer Lewis & team to work with us on drafting up and executing a cohabitation agreement between myself and my long term boyfriend. We had initially met with her at the end of February. Because of the virus, our communication shifted to email conversations to finalize the agreement over the course of a few months. Ms. Lewis and her team were beyond professional, extremely responsive, and easy to work with regarding updates, changes, and questions. She even helped us to find and coordinated a remote notarization over Zoom with a certified notary to execute the agreement. I would absolutely use her again for any needs we had in the future.

Jennifer Lewis and her team (Leanna, Jackie, and Wendy) are phenomenal to say the least. During this turbulent time, you want to be armed with good representation and support. Simply total disappointing experience. I had to have every legal document rewritten due to a complete lack of attention to detail on legal documents. I assumed I hired them to in fact write legal documents but if they are totally incorrect they cant be assumed as anything but, non factual papers. The point I believe in hiring an attorney is to review legal papers when you dont need their advice. If the papers they create for you and send to opposing council it opens you to zero protection.

jennifer made base-level guarantees regarding child support and custody. additionally, she outlined the big-picture goals beyond that. her communication throughout the process was best described as meh. it was good at first, but slowly she was less responsive. i wrote thousands of words for her to use and provided ample documentation. i was told jennifer wished all of her clients were as organized. her team copy and pasted my writings into their documents. their own original content was often my name included incorrect or inaccurate. she and her team assured me throughout that we were in great position to get what we wanted, then, without warning, the case was over (never even made it into a courtroom) and jennifer basically shrugged and moved on. i had the case reviewed. she failed to do do a number of things that could have benefited me. after thousands of dollars spent and nearly a year, she accomplished literally nothing. kudos to her. i would love to get $12k plus to produce zero point zero results.

Divorce is never an easy process to go through. Jennifer and Jodie walked me through every single phase and educated me on what to expect. She reviewed the settlement agreement that I had negotiated with my husband (now ex) with a mediator. She asked me questions to help me think through issues I had not been aware of or considered. She provided information to ensure that I was aware of what I could get if I went to court and what I was giving up. She made good recommendations for changes to the settlement agreement. She charged me a reasonable fee. She was accessible and a pleasure to deal with. I compare this with another lawyer I had been to whose eyes were rolling with dollar signs and charged me an exorbitant amount for what I did not ask for; want or need. I highly recommend her.
